The studio has a spacious hall with a pleasant and calming atmosphere, which adds to the overall experience. I can definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a cozy way to stretch and unwind in winter.
However, I found the program itself to be a bit short. It would have been great to include more asanas, as I felt some areas of my body were left under-stretched.
That said, the effect was noticeable, and it’s an excellent option for those who want to stay warm while practicing yoga. Many studios lack warm air during winter, which makes this concept stand out. Just watch out for the cold wind outside once you’re done!
I had Clemens for Original hot yoga and it was great. The room was heated and spacious enough to be not overcrowded. The instructor was really soft spoken yet assertive enough to push you deeper into each pose. He was ensuring that each student was “okay” and not passing out. Very respectful and professional teacher. Remember it’s bikram so it’s very structured and it’s always the same 26 poses in a super hot room so you are drenched by the time you are done.
Bring your mat, 2 big towels, and a big water. Another great thing I noticed and appreciated is they sell 1L of water for 2 euros as oppose to something overpriced in other studios.
I was practicing the original hot yoga here and I really enjoy the space. The instructor Patty was great! She corrected the positions and every time she walked around made sure everyone was doing ok. The instructions she gives are clear and during the whole practice she’s paying attention to students. Unfortunately just a few instructors really take time to correct.
My only complain is that students do not stay for the shavasana at the end of the class and everyone hurries, which doesn’t allow the others to really get in this part of the class. It would be nice if instructors would give some hints about this.
Other than that I can really recommend!
The studio is nice and the amenities are great (shower, hair dryer, etc).
I recommend the hot yoga classes. They're good and the room gets freshened up after the session.
I also tried a Warm Vinyasa class once (I don't remember the teacher's name) but the experience was not the greatest. I don't consider myself a beginner, but I'm far from being an advance yogi, and although the class description said it was suitable for all levels, I found many poses to be for advanced yogis. She offered no alternatives whatsoever, and did not ask beginners not to perform certain asanas (head/handstands) if they were not familiar with the poses.
I myself know what my limits are, but some others might not, and they might try without considering the danger. That's very incompetent from the instructor as a friend of mine told me she attended a class where a girl broke her nose. Considering one can sweat a lot in such a class (Warm Vinyasa), that should be even more important to mention.
