Best views in the city ever + AMAZING sunsets
I’ve been here couple times: weekdays and Saturday/Sunday
On weekday I didn’t even have to wait in line.
Tip: if you wanna find a table to sit on a weekend- come in advance, around 18. This way you avoid 30-40 minutes line, and it’s not that crowded yet
+ you will not find here crazy beats to dance, music is usually chill, creating light atmosphere.
Many tourists, yes, but still quite authentic.
Strong 4+ stars

Gorgeous rooftop, and obviously pretty popular! We were there closer to sunset and it was jam packed, still we were able to find a place to stand and enjoy the vibes. The 8 € entrance fee is quite ridiculous though… Still, it’s a lovely place and quite spacious.
Ece Ozkan

Such a fun place to visit with a nice view of Berlin,in an unexpected place.
It’s on top of a shopping mall on parking lot.the idea itself is brilliant and I loved it.
Has chill vibe with a nice crowd
The only problem is limited bar booths.
Queue can be very tiring.
On weeksdays entrance is free on weekends like many other places because of live music they also have the fee which is 8€ p.p.
Price of snacks and beers were decentlyaffordable.
I loved it and I recommend this place
Delara Cheraghpouran

Great spot for sunset drinks! It gets packed and you might need to wait in line, and maybe not find a table to sit. Overall fun and relaxed crowed, lots of tourist, not your local Neukolln people. Worth the trip once in a while .
Lucas A.

Absolutely loved the place! The vibe is fantastic with all the greenery and Klunkerkranich is among the best sundowner spots in all of Berlin! We came at 5 PM on a peak summer Monday and only paid 2€ entrance each. It started to fill up quickly and a friend who joined us later ended up paying 5€ entrance at 6 PM, with some people reporting an 8€ entrance fee. We also had such a good time because we were able to secure one of the few tables that were best for sunset viewing. So get to Klunkerkranich early if you can!
Why only 4 stars? (A) Drinks only cash, food only by card (B) People smoke nonstop and you smell and feel as if you visited the smoker area of a pub or club even though this is an open air rooftop. I get it’s open air and they’re allowed to smoke, but it’s so full that everyone smokes too, whether they like it or not. There were kids complaining to their parents about the smoke. Why not have a secluded smoking area to avoid this?

The view is absolutely amazing, making it a perfect spot to relax. The lovely Iranian staff were incredibly welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere. The cocktails were tasty, but be prepared—they’re a bit on the pricey side. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy a drink with a view!
Thank you
Vahid Shahani

A rooftop bar with an amazing view. You have to go only for that. The place itself is beautiful as well. The drinks were really good.
I was not satisfied with the food, however. Still, it is a place I will keep going for the atmosphere, the music, the view, the vibe.
Vana Mavrakana

Monkey Bar offers a lively experience with stunning panoramic views of the city and the Berlin Zoo (right over the monkey exhibit). Their cocktails are expertly crafted and have a wide range of food options as well. Whether you are seated indoors or out on the terrace, the bar provides a chic spot to unwind and enjoy the Berlin skyline.
Alexis Baker

Very nice view! The service was horrible though, literally no service except taking the order and delivering food. We had sparkling water and the water was still, mentioned to the waiter, he just doesn’t seem to care.
L C

Monkey Bar was a tourist trap in Berlin. The only thing nice about the place was the skyline views. Service and food were okay. I had the passion fruit martini (which looked way better than it tasted) it just tasted like cheap alcohol with not even a hint of passion fruit. Over all a below average experience.

Awesome Pub. Went there twice during our Berlin visit. Great atmosphere and even better music (lots of The Cure and other classic goth tunes). Food was very tasty and the service, even with a totally crowded bar, on point as well. Definitely recommend going there if you want a pint in a cosy setting with great music.
Chris Kiesling

Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had!!! Served in a hot bowl that keeps it piping the entire time!
Great service & fantastic atmosphere, its everything you want.
And also, top drawer live music.
The best reason to visit Berlin.
James Woolley

Irish pubs are never disappointing and this one was also nice! It’s in a great location so a bit more pricy that the others but worth it . Inside they show all the games and also there is enough room. Good selection of beers too
Suhas Thakral

Guinness is very smooth, but if you want the typical carbonation of beer, you might be disappointed. Fish and chips are always delicious
Evyi YOO

My wife and I popped in for dinner and to watch an international rugby game. The excellent and attentive staff managed patrons keen to watch rugby and an international football game simultaneously. Well done! The food was fine. I have no hesitations in returning.

Wanted to try the popular Irish pub. We just looked around and took seat at the bar. There was only 1 bartender and it took forever to place order. Later, there was 1 server and we went to her to place order. Since it took long time to place order, we didn’t want to order any food. Had beers and left. But the atmosphere seemed nice.
Yugine Lama

If you’re EPL fan.. here is the perfect place in Berlin. Enjoy the games and drinks
Jirakarn Fungsawat

Good Irish pub atmosphere and beer, lots of screens. A bit pricy on the beer though.
Sunny Simantov

This Irish pub has an amazing atmosphere and great service! The staff are friendly and really add to the authentic pub vibe. It’s a fantastic place to unwind or enjoy a night out with friends.
However, the prices are a bit of a shock, even for Berlin. While €5 for a beer is already on the higher side here, paying €8 feels excessive. It’s worth it for the quality and ambiance occasionally, but definitely not an everyday spot unless you’re ready to splurge.
Still, the overall experience makes it a place I’d recommend—just be prepared for the premium prices.
Julian Diaz Rojas

Service is friendly and attentive, with staff members who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Berlin, a visit to the Irish pub at the Europa Center is sure to leave you with fond memories of good music, good food, great drinks, and even better company. DONT GET THE IRISH STEW!
I went here for traditional Irish stew after moving from Dublin. It was really bad and not traditional at all!
All the ingredients were chopped super small and the beef was so dry.
The bar itself is nice and a normal pub.
Emmalie Lorelei

Quality pint of guiness, price about right for berlin. Irish stew was nice and the nachos were great value, massive portion. Hand soap in bathroom wouldn’t of gone a miss, was there 5 hours and none! But definitely recommend this place!
Gary Forrest

Nice Location, classic Irish Pub interior and often good live music.
But I don’t recommend to order a classic Softdrink due to the high price and bad service. 5,-€ for a straight can without a glas or ice or anything is too expensive.
Mr. Fisch

Thank you so much, we eat bacon burger. Good !
Aylin

Self service. Go to counter and ask for beer and pay right away. Don’t wait to be seated they don’t do that there. Cool place but it can be busy . They accept card.

The cocktails are amazing, the staff is super friendly and fun, we really enjoyed our time here, don’t miss this.
Matan Koby

Little gem of a cocktail bar with one of the best espresso martini I ever had. The free water on the table is a nice add on, so is the Wodka shots. We had a great time. And also the mocktails were delicious and didn’t only taste of sugar like in other places. They do have a separate smoking area inside which surprised me and sitting close means you still smell a bit of smoke. But that’s a minor inconvenience for the delicious cocktails
Sonja Müller

we arrived 1 hour earlier than the reservation time, it was great that the staff arranged a place for us immediately (although a bit cramped) but still ok for us to sit and talk comfortably, the cocktail drinks were great and special, suitable for gathering with friends on weekends (prices are also very reasonable) !!! will come back

It’s always packed, they don’t accept card payments, and some of the bartenders can be quite rude if you don’t speak German well. However, the atmosphere is good, which makes the place more enjoyable. It’s a great spot to chat and meet new people, and the decoration is quite appealing.
Frida Criollo

One of the best bars in Berlin! There’s always space, always great atmosphere, and be ready to make friends.
Mathias Fonseca

This classic old-style pub in Berlin is a cool spot with a vibrant crowd. However, the loud music can make conversation a challenge, requiring you to practically scream. The tables could use some more attention as they are often left uncleared. The presence of billiards and table soccer is a plus, and the mix of middle-aged folks, bros, and punk individuals adds to the unique atmosphere. The bar itself is good, and the beer is both nice and reasonably priced. Just be prepared for the high volume of the music, and don’t expect a quick game of billiards, as the queue can get quite long!
Nikhil Kumar Jha

This place rules. PLENTY of space, inside and out. Good bier list (one of the only places in Berlin that serves a good Snakebite), plus pinball, pool, and foosball. The music selection is EXCELLENT, not too loud as some reviewers have said
Seth Spaulding

The music is way too loud and it’s impossible to talk. The waiter was pretty annoyed at the fact that I didn’t notice the menu was written behind the bar and therefore I asked for one. The location itself and the music are really good, but my drink wasn’t exceptional and the treatment made it not worth it.

This place is wonderful! The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the cocktails are well-crafted with a perfect blend of flavors. The hookah is excellent, offering smooth and enjoyable sessions. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable evening!
Only negative side, look like they are not accepting payment by card and considering we spended more then 100 euro was a strange

Nice place with good music. Lots of smoke inside because of the shisha, so be ready!

The most incredible shisha I’ve ever had. The service is top-tier, drinks to die for, and no shortage of great company! Hope you enjoyed my big tips 😉
Shisui Uchiha

Very nice hookah bar with reasonably priced cocktails. Service is that fast though, and this place gets very busy during weekends. The waiter forgot our order and never returned with hookah, and eventually we cancelled it after 45 minutes. Drinks were pretty good though!
Ashwin Aggarwal

It is a beautiful shisha place with great drinks! But they never picked up phone for reservations. We took a gamble and luckily found a table. The hookah was good too, but slow service. The drinks were amazing. We had what the waitress recommended with berries and Prosecco and it was delicious!

Various list of different cocktails and very friendly bartenders. Music is great and just right volume. The style of the bar/restaurant is just crazy wild and like a circus.

I came here for my birthday and we were placed at the back of the stage. Although we told the waiter that we would like to change and he told us that he will, we continued sitting in the same place. The waitress who served us was very friendly, but the food and the cocktails were really bad. The show was nice, but thinking that a cocktail costs around 12 euros, I would not recommend this place at all.
S A

Our time slot was 1pm.
Food was awful looked like it had sat there for hours all shrivelled up & not healthy looking. We didn’t really eat anything other than a bread roll.
We were sat round to side of stage saw the saxophonist who was good but rest of entertainment was just them getting people up who we didn’t know so not entertaining for us at all & then it just all finished. There were time slots available after ours
Saw no-one dressed up like in the pictures just girls in pyjamas.
We waited over 1/2 an hour for drinks despite asking a couple of times. By the time we got them so called entertainment was over & the place emptying. Total waste of time & money for us and we wished we had not broken up a day for this.
Diana Hewitt

What a beautiful experience.
We came here without any expectations but got blown away from a majority of beautiful acts each unique in its own.
Don’t forget to bring an empty belly for the delicious brunch and dessert.
All got rounded up by our amazing waitress Wafa.
Thanks for the unforgettable day.

Love the atmosphere! Very cozy, and interesting! Drinks were kinda expensive 16€ for a Moscow mule and 2 water, but it was still worth it, in my opinion. Nice music and fun to watch videos being projected onto the walls. Very creative.
Ava von Niebelschuetz

Loved it the moment I walked in and saw books. I’ve learned that when the bar staff if good, the clientèle follows. It did not disappoint, met some fun people and had a great time! I would highly recommend and would definitely be returning when in Berlin.
Adrian Kelly

My pisco sour was sadly more sweet than sour, for 11,50€ I expected something a bit better.
My friends basil smash was better, but also very over sweetened.
The space to sit on the big stairs is nice, but the bar area is a bit weird: a simple long table instead of a proper bar. All bartenders must therefore stand and cannot relax, they also looked quite moody.
The music was not really to my liking, but that’s a matter of taste.
Ptitsuisse

Cash (Euro) Only! Great space. There is a great vibe here. The staff is very happy to accommodate your drink requests with friendliness even when they are really slammed. Coffee is available anytime. Good music. Fun crowd. Consider yourself lucky to spend time here.
Joseph Brown

Very hip and differentiating place: a mix of old, new and art in a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
The design of the place has an interesting concept: partial refurbished walls, mix of mirrors, art hanging on the wall or directly painted there…with an old fashion and obsolete furniture The mirror on the front wall give a very nice effect.
The personnel is nice, although the waiting time is too long.
The prices are ok.
