I’m very glad to have found their space because not only was I able to work freely on my own project and make use of their brilliant facilities, but I also got to meet a lovely community of artists in a new city. The studio is packed with so many different facilities that allow for different kinds of clay working techniques. It was amazing to see how they save and recycle their clay. The space is so well organized and all the people who use it work together to keep it that way. I have a lot of respect for what Ceramic Kingdom offers![/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Robert Procter" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjWx74vl-N0LUUnzIaVb4BDZrkCF_c2omQazOzHvDaa7Cd3Xjw4=s120-c-rp-mo-br100"]I had been looking for similar classes to work as a team event for a larger group (10+ people) and picked Ceramic Kingdom as they offered the option to work with both hand building and wheel throwing. We spent a great 2.5 hours at the studio; the team was very welcoming, they were clear and experienced in guiding a group of mostly beginners and worked with us to find a good solution for the larger group. (Originally we discussed splitting into two and rotating between building techniques, though on the day it turned out to be better to split into two and stick to one technique per group for the entire time. This meant we could finish something a little more significant than we otherwise would have).
If you’re considering: hand building allowed more personalisation and variety in projects, we got through building and painting, while wheel throwing was a little less flexible and was more about the experience and introducing the techniques. Both were a lot of fun for the group and we all came away very satisfied with the day!
The tutors were friendly and helpful and communication throughout has been totally smooth and easy. Very happy to recommend in the future and will be sure to keep an eye on upcoming workshops…
Thanks a lot![/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Yulia Balitskaya" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjWykRrJt3o7CpF0lJHqk9FE8wT8qBPv6_1fqqUxDftDzrgOuOU=s120-c-rp-mo-ba2-br100"]A great place! I loved both, and I would definitely come back. They offer studio time as well, and firing services. The studio is spacious and well-equipped. I fully recommend![/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Isabella T" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjVXOhQ-qIvfmM2-iNNJRQx22qOaxPbhbWE5hPL3efnVLIWG4N16=s120-c-rp-mo-ba5-br100"]Excellent offer of pottery classes. All bookings and payments can be done online. There were so many options of courses that I did not where to start as a beginner! Group classes are small enough to have one to one interactions with instructor. My instructor, Silvia, was super patient, easy-going and helpful. Equipment and materials are readily available for class takers and members of CK![/su_testimonial] View all reviews
