I started as a B1 student and continued through the courses, progressing all the way to C1 with preparation for the DaF test, all while thoroughly enjoying my time here with a smile on my face.
You’ll encounter an environment bursting with colours and creativity. Inspiring murals adorn the walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the classrooms. And with a brilliant, super tasty all vegan cafe. The best carrot cake I have ever tried.
Throughout my time at die deutSCHule, I’ve been fortunate to learn from many teachers. However, two who stood out and made a significant impact are Jendrick and Armin.
Jendrick’s infectious enthusiasm helped me break through the barrier of speaking confidently. Armin, known as the grammar guru, structured his classes around current German topics, making learning both educational and engaging up to C1 level. His lessons deepened our understanding of language and culture while ensuring each student felt seen, heard, and understood.

I wanted to follow the in-person course, but no spots were left, so I ended up joining the online course. The team made it very easy for me to join a course that had already started. The online course is super well structured, the teacher is really motivating and the whole class was highly motivated.
I initially thought about switching to in-person as soon as the first module ended, but eventually I must say I enjoy the online course and am very satisfied with the outcome. Very excited to continue and finish the B2 course!
Special thank you to Natascha who's been very helpful with her teaching and supportive!

I started learning German (from A1.1) at die deutSCHule in February this year, and I finished my B2.3 intensive course last night. I was only able to attend Zoom lessons because I don't currently live in Germany, but that was no issue. Six teachers taught me during my time as a student (three subbed in for a few days, and I spent most of my time being taught by the other three). It was wonderful to get to know them and my fellow students while steadily improving my German skills. Although I had to switch classes twice mid-level, it was never difficult to continue our coursework with a new teacher, and despite the faster pace we had to keep up with, my teachers ensured that we were able to cover all the required modules as thoroughly as possible within our timeframe. The exercises were oftentimes challenging, but I found the work engaging and fun. In my experience, die deutSCHule is more than worth every penny I spent, and has set high standards for my future academic experiences. I am unfortunately unable to continue with B2 exam prep or C1 courses, but I would still recommend them, as I am sure that the level of professionalism, friendliness, and the quality of the lessons would be the same as I have experienced so far. If you are looking to learn German well within a shorter time period, I highly recommend the intensive courses. I would also like to thank the school's staff for their hard work to make these courses as worthwhile as they are, and my teachers for their hard work teaching us so well that someone not accustomed to language learning - like me - could achieve a B2 level in German in just 10 months.

I studied A1 - B2 levels here and can absolutely recommend the school. The teachers are really good and helpful, I liked the fact that we never spoke any English at the lessons and tried to speak German from our first days at school. My favourite teachers were Berit, Hanna and Lena The prices are affordable. I also liked the cafe here. The staff was always nice and friendly to me. It’s a really good place to learn German fast and then pass exams for work or university.
