Absolutely electrifying. Spectacular, and a must see if you go to Berlin. The performers were incredible and it was the best show I had ever seen. Every time amorher act came out you didn’t think you could top it but it kept getting better and better!

we went there to watch Falling in Love with the kids. The choreography is amazing and the music the whole show is breathtaking.
I just felt that it may not be recommended for young kids below 9 years old.
The scenes of the trampolines and the acrobatic dance were on another level.

Lady from poster has nothing to do with show. Commercial venue. Time for an honest review. I’ve seen Phantom of the Opera and alike grand shows. This has nothing to with them. It is a simple very lame copycat style typical for berlin. It was primary troupe and choreography was so off, kids do better at competitions. You can tell they don’t care and just doing their job at average. Crowd is not demanding. Costumes are great. Can’t hide that. Sound was super low and you can hear people around you easily. Not all singing was live. They use phonogram and put voiceovers. Orchestra(small band) was there but lots were prerecorded. Like females singing f with only males around. Chameleon is the only guy who enjoys his role and job. Main roles – come on. Where you’ve found them? Can’t find better ones ? In Berghain? Bar – cheapest everything including VIP bar with same assortment. Diva lounge – same assortment. It was a joke. Left at the half break. People filming and attendants just go in front and show iPad with no photo signs disturbing others attracting attention to those who misbehave and basically never send them out even at brake after 5 times. What a lame joke. Singing is terrible too btw. I DO NOT recommend to go if you anywhere aware of standards of Lloyd Webber level shows or anywhere real theaters. It is looks like school Christmas show really. Except costumes. Those are great. Oh. Don’t bother buying expensive tickets. Maybe in the middle if you care but cheapest would give you almost same view everywhere. Tickets boot was nice to cancel accidentally purchased ticket. Thank you. Will never go again. It is simply below standards and oriented for crowd from the countryside or smaller towns who never seen real deal. Good luck deleting this comment guys (: not gonna work.

Oh. They claim to be biggest theater stage – that must’ve been a joke ) La Scala sends their greetings and also London opera )

Love the shows there. I took my teenage girls for the first time and they were totally awestruck.
We saw “falling in love”. The two main protagonists were girls which added a nice modern touch to the story.

The stage technology is mind baffling especially the use of waterfalls and circular pool in the stage centre that can change its depth, fountains etc.

Also loved the cancan and that on closer inspection the guys were sure to hold their own in strut and dance. One of my daughters didn’t even realise that men were interlaced!

Great that they did summer holiday performances this year.

Impossible to explain the “falling in love” show. Not much of a story line but plenty to look at – amazing stage, costumes, lighting! We went for the cheap seats (row 9 seat 4 and 5) which had a perfect view as we had heard mixed reviews! Well worth what we spent (I don’t know that the more expensive seats are worth the extra). Not for the faint hearted or small kids but definitely good value for a 2 hour show

Nice concert and live music venue. Everything except the wardrobe section was absolutely streamlined. Almost no wait times anywhere despite the concert being completely sold out. Great acoustics too.

Great seats and views, and we really enjoyed the show we went to see.
Ticket office was very helpful when we had problems with our tickets and they sorted the problem quickly without any fuss.

Very long queues for the toilets, particularly the ladies, and the disabled toilet was out of order. There is only one lift between floors situated centrally in the Foyer so be prepared to wait if you need to use it. Toilets are all on the lower level.
The only food available inside were Nachos or popcorn, anything else you will need to buy outside and again the queues were very long!

Big music venue, hard concrete floors in standing area. Recommend arriving as soon as doors open for shows if you want to see without tall men blocking the stage while filming the show with their phones. Why are people allowed to block the view of other attendees with cell phones? Wish Tempodrom would require phones be put away for shows.

I have to say it. As a founder of the World Economic Forum, I am really proud of this investment. Super cool and chill place.
Entry is for EUR 7 and you have a 2 hour window to use the pool and stay at the place.
Like the fact that you HAVE to shower before going into the pool (they are placed right next to the pool)
Unfortunately there are no indoor showers to clean off after dipping into the pool.
WCs are clean.

Firstly the staff on ground to direct you to your seat are so so nice , warm and welcoming. The interior decor in this building is STUNNING !

As for the classical concert I attended , it was beautiful and conducted to perfection. Loved every bit of it .

A beautiful building, classics of architect Karl F Schinkel, early in the 19th century.

Originally built as a theater venue, however, considered by many (not by me) as one of the best acoustic halls is Europe. It actually contains a large and a small hall, therefore, often running more than one show at the time.

Personally, I don’t think the acoustics to be extraordinary, as a matter of fact, if t wasn’t for all the acoustic reflectors added more recently, it probably would be quite poor. This, as far as I can tell, because the halls are rectangular and flat, with no noticeable features that would enhance acoustics. Also no features that enhances the audiences view of the stage, particularly once you’re seated past row 10.

Yesterday i have been at this venue for the first time in my life. I was there for ZHU.
I have been in so many places in Berlin and i can tell you that this place has the best sound system that i have come across in Berlin so far. I really love the venue design. All platforms and sitting areas are designed so well.
Stage was small for ZHU but i assume it is ok for small bands and singers.

The queue at the entrance and the queue of the cloackroom needs to be improved! You wait on the queue but there are a lot parasites who cuts the queue. At the end i got my coat back in 1h waiting.

After a 1.5 hr concert, waited over 1 hour to get my coat back from the Garderobe. The process was unbelievably disorganized. The employees sometimes had to go through most of the hangers every time they looked for an item. So with hundreds of people it took forever. Is it really so hard to do the bare minimum and sort the items?
The staff was very friendly but clearly the management has to do better.

At first impression everything is ok but if you are not as fun of weed and generally not a smoker, it’s difficult to stay there. Even though the event was outside, I could really breathe. All drinks were served in plastic, only some beers and Softdrink were in a glass.
But they play very good music, I would love to enjoy it more.

Great location for electronic partys, that I visited regularly in the past twenty years. Mostly for Vandit Nights with Paul van Dyk. Last visited for the double event Venture X and Winter Vandit Night in December 2023.
Bar and staff are nice, prices ok. Toiletts are clean and enough for the size of the venue. Smoking is possible in attached open environment.
Entry procedure could be speed up. In my opinion the doors to the stage and bar area should be open, when the venue opens to not produce unnecessary “traffic jams” (minus one star).

I can only imagine that my poor experience was due to being Arab. I was asked to leave the venue for no apparent reason. I asked repeatedly why they were asking me to leave, and I wasn’t given a reason why. I paid a lot of money to be able to see Still Woozy, but I didn’t get to see him perform.

We went to see Sam Tompkins. The concert was great, very nice atmosphere overall. It’s a bit annoying that they only take cash payments, but we had cash prepared for that reason so it was fine. The hardest part was finding the entrance, we passed by it twice before a line was formed in front of the doors, thats when we saw that what we thought as “windows” were actually doors.

the venue’s staff is the most unwelcoming, hostile and sour i’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with at any arts event. i got frisked 4 times, 2 of them while i was already inside of the venue by the same staff member for no particular reason, while also having an attitude of a frustrated wannabe police officer. the rest of the staff kept a similar attitude throughout the event and even the promoters seemed to be frustrated and having arguments with the venue’s employees.

highly advise both promoters and attendees to avoid putting themselves through the ordeal of being treated in such a disrespectful and demeaning way for several hours of their day.
