I was their client with my small UG for 2 years. At first I was quite happy with them, everything was done in a timely manner, but I wasn't happy with the solutions WebAkte they used, it looks like from 2000. My company wasn't doing so well so of course, it might not have been so interesting for them to work with us - small UG, sometimes late with submission of receipts. I still believed they should have been nicer to us and maybe write not in Kanzlei-German but in a human way (even though I speak fluent German, the Kanzlei-Deutsch is just something else). Moreover, their services cost quite reasonably as compared to the normal in Germany costs for Steuerberatung. However, I felt like their services were too expensive and not so client oriented and after they have raised their prices late 2022, I decided to leave them. What a big mistake it was!
Even though I do believe their way of serving clients, especially international, should be improved, but: 1) I never had to chase them, they chased me if I was missing something; 2) they submitted everything on time; 3) it wasn't super expensive compared to the rest, even if I perceived it expensive. Now I am with another Stuereberater who I had a great feeling about but they have just disorder in their documents, always late with communication, I have to chase them for anything, sometimes call, they lose my documents - just a nightmare.
Herrmann & Herrmann were so much better, and even after the increase in price, less expensive than what I am paying my new tax consultant. It was a big mistake for me to move. I thank Herrmann & Herrmann for their service to my company.
What I decided however after founding a startup in Germany - never again. I will found more companies but NEVER EVER in Germany. But, if you want/have to have a company in Germany and need a tax consultant in Germany, I wholeheartedly recommend Herrmann & Herrmann.

I was recommended by a colleague to have my tax done with Frank Herrmann, and having used his service, I will recommend it to any Freelancers or Artists like myself who have zero knowledge in German tax system. Frank works thoroughly and gives time in answering questions ( I had lots of questions!). I like the overall professionalism and friendliness of the office staff members. I also like their client's data management system called WebAkte.
