Visited Berlin for a few days and wanted to workout somewhere. Signed for the trail class and was very impressed. Big area with free weights and huge area with machines. There are vending machines with pre-workout and protein shakes that accept cards.

I’ve never been treated so nicely by someone at FitX 🙂 The girl at the reception was great when I went to get my card, super super sweet!

Unfortunately, im only going for the price (been going to kudam branch for about a year and a half). But definitely, next year, i would rather pay more and leave fitx. Never had a negative encounter with the staff at all, but the gym cleanliness is so so bad, lady lockers are always dirty and toilets often smell like piss (i would also blame the customers for this too). However, the floor is always dirty and dusty all over the gym.
The big weights area full of Johny Bravo wannabes always smells like sweat and piss. In fact, the whole gym does in aaaallll rooms.
Ladies training room: Oh, where do i begin… not poor ventilation, but lacks ventilation. Zero breath whatsoever. Also, here , some lady customers have zero respect for the room since no one puts their weights back or clean the equipment after use, especially the benches. Back to ventilation, im suffocating in there. Winter, summer… any season. The staff did put a standing fan during the heat, but really, guys, it had no effect whatsoever.
I read the fitx staff replies to others about the ventilation, but this is really a poor excuse. The gym management has to do something to the ventilation!! No AC? fine, but having the gym turn into a sauna, all seasons that smell like ubahns (kottbusser tor kinda smell to be specific) are unacceptable. Today, for example, the weather was significantly very cool, but i entered the gym earlier, and i had to hold my breath for a minute.
Also, the exercise matts are in super poor condition. Torn and super dirty. I hope this gets solved, at least.
The gym is generally very, very over crowded, i think there has to be a subscription limit or something. Doesn’t make sense that whoever checks the gym can simply register.
Rola Jaber

The gym is always clean and equipment is very good but it is often difficult to find the weights in the hammer strength area because they are usually all spread around.
Warley Noleto

My first time here and it is the worst fitx I’ve been to. Someone stole my towel while I was in the toilet(tnx for leaving my bottle nearby). No spare towels at reception. 3 of 3 rowing machines are broken. The air is stuffy. I decided to go home without working out and not to save time anymore, but only go to my trusted gym.

Edit after comment of the gym :
Hi guys, I can without problem explain the 1 star rating after your post – it’s only fair that you give your opinion after your customers share what’s not working in your gym and maybe it will help you to improve in the future (I really want to help, let me know if you need more info, if you want to meet, ect)
2 things are in my eyes at the fire of the problem here
1) your USC policy. I understand that you prefer to make the life of USC Users difficult to privilege the people who train without USC – its more money for you and less people on the matt – but it might be then better to not offer USC at all since it gets super inconvenient to train with you guys for the USC people and your reputation suffers from it. Your other memberships seem to be way more in adequation with the market although it’s still quite expensive as well. Rather no service at all than an automatically disasrifying one.
2) I don’t know the old man who was the trainer that day and I have nothing against him but, whoever comes to that gym, newbie, professional, XYZ, can expect a minimum of courtesy. That could have been super easily and quickly handled. Room for communication and social skills improvement here 😉
Otherwise, huge expensive gym, quite central in Berlin, good facilities and the participants/students are super nice.
Ah, and you guys need more lockers 😉
PS: USC works very well in other MMA locations where I have been, I am wondering if it’s just a choice/policy of the owner of the place and, again, that is fine, I guess it is a business decision at the end and I wish you all the best 🙂

I am a BJJ white belt from Australia who dropped in for a roll while in Berlin for a short time. Ended up going to some night classes (back to back).
Staff were easy to talk to and welcoming.
I felt very safe and comfortable.
Coaches were easy to understand and gave great advice.
Gym is clean and change rooms are good!
Classes were in English and rolls were solid! My classes were with Peter and Felipe and I was welcomed to the club by Robert and Michelle (excellent service!).
Thanks for the warm welcome and happy rolling
LW1

The reception is absolutely friendly and helpful! Every process feels refined and like they know what you need before you know it. The coaches I’ve met so far are also professional and friendly. I recommend! But be aware that to start you have to be ready to wait till they have free spot. But even in this case they have options for you to start asap.
Ruslan Ivakhnenko

I went for a class and an open mat. Very good coach, i had the pleasure to take the class of Felip. people are super friendly. The gym is really big. If you’re looking for a gym to go while in Berlin look no further.

Next Level. Ive been to many places in the world and i never saw a location like this. In the old facility they already had the best coaches in town but to be honest it was too full and small. But this new location is surreal! It has absolutely everything!

Overall, it’s a great place to boost your confidence and well-being while discovering a passion for boxing.

Boxing Sisters in Köln since September last year and very happy to see the community getting bigger. There’s different trainers and they all have different styles of teaching so every sister can find a trainer they like. The room has 5 punching bags, yoga mats and other equipment is available too. The classes are fun and you definitely get a good workout and learn boxing techniques!
Jennifer Li

I love classes with Boxing Sisters (Munich). I started with the beginner course (2 months) and then I continued with the membership.
Especially I love classes with Irma Adler, she is super experience and nice, explains every move, your mistakes, practices with everyone herself . I finally found my favorite sport (before that I couldn’t do any sport regularly, but now I do it 2-3 times a week with happiness!)
Maria Telyatnikova

Honestly I was worried that my fitness was not up to this class. I started with the beginners and no experience. I came in hoping to get fitter. The women in the class are so awesome and supportive. In the 11 weeks I have been going my body has changed. The teachers are great. Easy to get to at Alexanderplatz. Highly recommend in EN and DE.
Anne H

I’ve been boxing with BoxingSisters in Berlin regularly for about 4 months. I started out never having done much intense fitness at all, but through the beginner’s course I quickly learned to really like working out through boxing. The system of having different locations and being able to choose your own schedule and book sessions according to your preference of trainers felt perfect for me as you didn’t feel like you were stuck with one repetitive course but rather had a lot of variety.
One thing I will say is that communication with the BoxingSisters customer service can be tricky sometimes and could use improvement. But in terms of what’s offered and for the price and flexibility I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new way to work out and who wants to learn to box (does wonders for confidence and mental health as well). (although if you’re looking to box professionally and focus purely on technique other offers might be worth looking into after the beginner’s course). Trainers are for the most part also very accommodating for people without German as their native language and people of different levels and ages. The community itself also makes the training sessions feel more comfortable with the supporting and kind environment.
Lina Sattar

I booked the one in Munich and I am very satisfied with the program! I would say it’s ideal for those who don’t have an active lifestyle and would like to start getting more active but not sure where to start. For those who are already pretty sporty, this program could be too basic and might not even be a good cardio for your level. As a total beginner with zero fitness routine, this was just right for me. Perfect way to release all the stress after a work day :). I’m seeing overall improvement in my fitness and discovered a sport that I like!
The instructors were very nice and attentive. The instructions are mostly in German, but they would explain it in English if needed. (Expat tip: this is a great way to learn German ;))
The atmosphere has also been very great and full of smiles! It’s always full of energy and the fellow participants have always been nice and not snobby.
For introverts, I advise booking the class with a friend (ideally with the same height as you ;)) as most of the drills will be done with a partner.

Was my first time there and have nearly no boxing experience. They helped me to wrap the bands around my wrist and explained everything. The box trainer Niall was very nice and respectful and set a high standard for the class, cause he helped everyone personally, corrected when needed and stayed patient and very friendly all the time. It was fun and a nice variety to my yoga classes 😀 Also a nice way to leave work stress behind before going into the weekend! Oh and the music- nice!!!

Today my friend and I were at a training session and we would like to say thank you to the staff: Emily and her colleague at the reception. To be honest, after reading some negative reviews here, we hesitated to visit the place, but now we understand that it was very wrong. Insanely cute girls who charged us with a good mood right from the first steps at the entrance. Thank you for your friendly attitude and energetic workout! P.S.: if only there were showers… haha
Razita Tútush

Very Berlin-style experience 🙂 The place is really dark with color lights. It basically seems to get into a club in daytime loved it.
It has an open space for changing (which is absolutely fine, but good to know) and no showers.
The boxing class was really cool and the trainer was very motivating. Totally uncomplicated. And definitely a nice experience!

An excellent sport club. Intensive training, cool music, friendly environment. I really enjoy my every class there, although as I came for the first time I was very weak and obese. Super fast not only strength, but also stamina and endurance improvement.
Nadja

I have been training in Muay Thai for close to 12yrs and have traveled around the world, training at different gyms along the way.
I recently trained at Golden Glory in Berlin with Tarek, and this has been one of the best kickboxing training experiences thus far. Although this was K-1 focused, which was new for me, it was superb training from a superb trainer.
It was the best and worst personal training sessions; the best because it was very functional and technical, the worst because Tarek kept pushing me to hit harder, correct my form, and didn’t permit very many breaks. It was some of the best and hardest training, and I look forward to training there again next year.
Great gym!!! Great trainer!!!

Contract scammers. Make sure that your “limited” contract is actually ended and not auto prolonged.
Because if it is not, they will appear after 3 months of silence (not even trying to bill you) with a lawyers and a hefty bill.
