This was my first and last time to go there. There was no specific room for changing clothes so I had to change my clothes in the shopping area and then go to the training section to put my clothes in the locker. It was uncrowded which to me was a good thing. since I’m not a professional in using gym equipment so I was searching for instructions on how to use them but I didn’t find any and it made me unhappy leaving the gym.

Also if you are using urban clubs you can just use a part of the gym!

Terrible experience! My cap was stolen while I was sitting down getting changed in the gym, and I know exactly who took it. I spoke to the gym staff twice to avoid any conflict, but they did absolutely nothing. Their response? ‘Maybe they liked the cap.’ Seriously? The best they offered was to ‘possibly give the person a warning.’

I even suggested checking the cameras at the time of the theft, but they dismissed the idea, saying it would be ‘too complicated.’ Absolutely unacceptable. When you’re new to a gym and something like this happens, it makes you lose trust in the institution. Especially when a standard membership costs around €80 a month—you’d expect them to care for their clientele.

I’m never renewing my membership, and I would not recommend this gym to anyone. They don’t care about their members’ belongings, and their attitude towards theft is a joke.

Good gym. Lot of options. It’s just that people who use the gym and machines don’t stack back up the weights and it’s super annoying. I don’t know why the management wouldn’t do anything about it.

I also feel people should be responsible enough themselves to do it.
After all we are all adults right?

She took the time to introduce me to the club, explain the available classes, and highlight the excellent facilities. I have attended several of Sara’s classes, and I am very satisfied with her professionalism and attention to detail. She explains the movements clearly and ensures that everyone performs them correctly. Both Sara and Jennifer bring great energy to their classes, making each session enjoyable and motivating. Super atmosphere, friendly crew and clean fitness equipments. There is also beverage bar you can find any water you want. Prices are fair and saloon is really big, enough for everyone. Location is also great. Maybe toilets and sinks could be cleaned more. There was no soap.. I loved your ‘class x’ and especially yogilatix. It is good for my body and belly. Absolutely recommended.

Coming from the United States there is no way I’m going to give this gym anything less than FIVE stars. For the price point it puts any and all other gyms I’ve been to in the US to shame. It’s a much nicer, cleaner version of an LA fitness, with newer equipment. It doesn’t have a sauna as many of the gyms here do, but the staff (Tom) was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I really like the gym overall. It has all the machines and equipment one could need, the classes are decent, and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately, I find the gym quite uncomfortable. The lighting is personally very exhausting for me – it’s unnecessarily bright, and the small ceiling lights are especially bothersome. All the screens on the machines and TV monitors only add to the intensity. The music is also quite tiring, and the playlist could really use a change.

Nice studio. Positives include (mostly) friendly front-of-house team (one very rude exception!) a spacious red room with good sound system and – most importantly – good programming and motivation with the 2 trainers I tried (Nikolai and Tim S). All the classes I took were great.

(Minor) gripes would include:
– Very sweaty in the studio- uncertain if this was reluctance to use air conditioning amid cold temperatures outside or that it was ineffective
– with such big gaps between classes, might as well make each one an hour instead of 55 mins!
– No water fountain. Just like in Barcelona! I’m sure Berlin tap water is safe, but filling your water bottle in the communal bathroom just doesn’t feel hygienic…
– Only 2 toilets in the men’s locker room (one urinal / one stall) felt too few
– Poor choice of merchandise again. This trend of everything just saying “BARRY’S” rather than being location-specific is rubbish, let’s be honest
– Why not do check-in at the entrance desk rather than all the way downstairs?

The workout was good in the sense that I got in a good sweat and had some muscle soreness the next day, but I hated the vibes. It’s like working out in a dungeon. Dark basement, music blasting, punishing workout that was not any fun at all. It’s just a grind, running and very basic strength moves with dumbbells. I’d never try a Barry’s workout again.

I’ve been training at Barry Studio Berlin for two years, and while the workouts themselves are good, there are recurring issues that have become increasingly frustrating, especially during the evening classes. For the high price of each session, I honestly expect better organization and service.

The situation in the changing rooms is chaotic. When one class ends and the next one begins, there’s barely any space to move, let alone get changed. It feels like a scramble with everyone trying to get ready, which is far from an enjoyable experience. The same goes for the showers—participants often leave class early just to secure a spot, or you’re stuck waiting for ages. This really detracts from the overall experience, particularly during busy evenings.

Another issue is the lack of correction from trainers during the sessions. For such a high-cost fitness studio, I would expect more hands-on guidance to ensure proper form and avoid injury.

While the workouts are solid, these logistical and coaching issues—combined with the premium price—are starting to overshadow the positives. I hope the management addresses these concerns soon.

We were normally enjoy the classes they had. The trainers were friendly, positive, and motivational. We always enjoyed the classes and always left satisfied and happy. However, there’s one day that we were arrived one or two minutes before the class started. I was asking nicely to the girl who’s going to be the trainer that day, but she didn’t want to listen and just responded rudely ‘I’ll close the door’. When the class started, there was one girl came late but she let her in ‍♀️ I didn’t know what was her problem. When the trainers themselves were late, we weren’t even complaining and we were not even late on that day!
We were so disappointed and we want to avoid her classes. It supposed to be a positive and great work out, she just ruined it. If you don’t want to connect with people and even get irritated if they don’t understand directly what you’re instructing during the class, treating other people like the way you please, then maybe this field not for you.

If you want to take your workouts to the next level, you should definitely start training with STORM! These guys really know how to push you to your limits by combining both strength and cardio exercises, including boxing which is the coolest part!!
All of their coaches are great, but I especially like training with Arianna Tomaelo (who I also regularly train with in other gyms) as she’s super motivating, super strong, and very attentive to each person’s fitness level and technique!
Simply put, this is the right place to go if you want to get some serious energy out while having fun!

Brilliant training ️‍♀️ Went to a 50-min Bootcamp Class. The class was ok size so enough space to exercise. Trainer was super nice and made corrections along the way. The location itself is super good, right inside Holmes place on top of the Bauhaus. There is a small cafe where you can get protein shakes, protein bars, water or coconut water right at the entrance of Holmes place. The changing rooms are nice and spacious

Super good work out, lot’s of fun, the boxing part is great! Love the concept and good trainers. 2 stars off because the work outs always start way to late (10 to 15 min). If you want people to come 20min early (as requested upon booking) but you always start late, some people will be waiting up to 35min before they can finally start working out. Since the new check in procedure, the work outs are starting even later.

Great workouts. Shame the gloves really stink and the heartbeat belts are still wet from the previous person’s sweat. They should have way more gear to allow sweat to dry and have it fresh for the next group. It’s super non-hygenic. At times, music is way to loud (and I like it loud, which means, if it’s too loud for me, then it’s illegally loud and can harm one’s ears. Had to block my ears a few times. I do like the workouts though, so I hope the above could be improved somehow. Sell the gloves? Sell the heart rate thing belts? Cheers.

Good workout with nice music and equipment. However, I didn’t like the fact that even if you are a beginner you have to run in the treadmill at a pace of 12 to 16 km/h. I find this a bit too much if you are not comfortable in the treadmill. the trainer should let you decide at what velocity you are comfortable with. Most probably this will cause an accident.

Neben dem Spaß mit den unterschiedlichsten Menschen jeder Altersgruppe während der Workouts an der frischen Luft, komme ich jedes Mal an meine Grenzen & das fühlt sich wahnsinnig gut an! Christian lässt sich immer wieder andere Übungen und besondere Specials einfallen, wodurch man in vielerlei Hinsicht fit wird. Falls man eine Übung nicht ausführen kann, unterstützt er immer & zeigt eine Alternative auf. Ich freue mich auf viele weitere Workouts & ein riesiges Danke schön an dieser Stelle an Chris & René! ☺️

Nach knapp 20 Jahren Sportpause und inzwischen 2 jähriger Sportaktivität bin ich auf einen Trainer getroffen der sein Handwerk sehr gut versteht. Interessante abwechslungsreiche und effektive Übungen im Hinblick auch auf individuelle Ziele werden sehr gut eingebaut. Bei Gruppenübungen findet er auch bei unterschiedlichen Leistungsniveau’s einen guten Weg der keinen langweilt oder überfordert. Geht auf die Wünsche sehr gezielt ein und überrascht mit einem großem Spektrum an Vielfalt bei den Übungen. Gute Erfolge werden mit einfachen Übungen durch seine Erfahrung erreicht. Ist für Sportler aller Leistungsklassen nur zu empfehlen.

Top Trainer!
Ich hatte als Hobbyfußballer lange Zeit Probleme mit dem Sprunggelenk, Christian konnte mir sofort eine Reihe von sinnvollen Übungen zeigen, mit denen ich Stabilität aufgebaut habe, nicht nur im Sprunggelenk, auch in der Rumpfmuskulatur.
Wo früher immer Kühlpacks und 2 Tage humpeln nach dem Spiel am Wochenende angesagt waren, ist jetzt alles top, fühle mich viel fitter und vor allem robuster.

Für mich das perfekte Fitness Training. Professionell zugeschnittene Workouts für Anfänger bis hardcore Fortgeschrittene im Freien. Ich war schon on vielen Fitness-Studios angemeldet ohne regelmäßig hinzugehen und das Original Bootcamp Training bei Jan ist der erste Sport, bei dem ich tatsächlich traurig bin, wenn ich nicht hingehen kann. Super ausgewogenes Training, immer anstrengend und herausfordernd und immer mit viel Spass. Neben dem Trainer sind ausserdem die festen Gruppen für mich ein großer Grund, regelmäßig hinzugehen. Ich bin seit 4 Jahren dabei und hoffe, dass es noch viele Jahre so weiter geht. 🙂

Spitzen Location, spitzen Training! Es macht immer wieder Spaß im Bootcamp, sei es die Herausforderung sich selbst zu schlagen oder Übungen im Team! Die Location ist besonders für den Winter geeignet aber auch bei wärmeren Temperaturen lässt es einen tollen Ausblick und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge zu die das Training direkt noch besser machen!

Ich kannte diese Art Fitness vorher nicht, kann es aber nur empfehlen: super TrainerInnen (Jan und Bettina), die auf verschiedene Bedürfnisse eingehen, tolle Stimmung unter den booties und das alles an der frischen Luft. Auch im Kundenzentrum sind sie sehr hilfsbereit.

Sam ist eine wirklich sehr gute Trainerin, legt sehr viel Wert auf Richtigkeit der Ausführung der Übungen und bringt viel Abwechslung ins Training. Wer gern kocht und gern isst, wohnt gemeinhin auf der Genussseite des Lebens. Angeratener Sport? Pah! Ausgleich? Nö, kommt mir nicht in die Tüte. Und dann denkste ne Dekade später, na vielleicht doch, es ufert aus, ein wenig Bewegung, na gut na gut. Mal vorsichtig ein Probetraining. Und dann moderiert die Trainerin Sam leichthin durch schweißtreibende Runden, Du lachst dazu (wirklich) und Du erinnerst Dich nicht mehr so ganz, wie Du es ans Ende des Trainings geschafft hast.
