Horrible experience. Showed up one hour too early, copped major attitude when we were not ready and grumpily returned later. Three guys and not one dolly / wagon between them - ended up wanting to borrow ours. 2 guys seemed way to old to be "Studenten", third guy was friendly but did not speak German nor English, so unlikely that he was a "Student" in Berlin. The website promised "verwenden statt verschwenden" so we assumed that our brand new sofabed, the perfectly good bedframe and various other household items would be re-used, re-cycled or similar. But no - EVERYTHING was treated as trash!!! That is not what website indicated. Would NOT recommend this company.

We were moving abroad and had a bunch of furniture we couldn’t bring with us. 4 super friendly guys showed up and emptied our place, disabling wardrobes, bookshelves, removing shelves and lamps from walls. And constantly with a smile on their face. It made our move so much more pleasant and stress-free! I would easily recommend.

i've seen cheaper offers, but am pretty sure those would have come with additional costs like municipal waste or furniture disposal charges. studenten-power gave me a final netto price which included everything and they finished the job in very short time.
they're using some type of vertical elevator that moves stuff from the balcony, avoiding all hassles with cramped elevators and narrow staircases.
it may be possible to shave a few euros off the final bill with some other contractor, but with a lot more hassle.
