We want to this place with couple of friends to enjoy beer near to the lake. It was quite full on a Sunday afternoon. Spanish music, everybody naked swimming in and sitting around the shore. This was quite crazy but ofcourse it’s Berlin. Nice place to sit shades , relax and even sleep

Nice place to have a day to enjoy the sun and a cool swim. Available is a toilet and food and drinks. There is a quieter place for families and others that do not want to be trampled by youngsters. And a place for young people to have less quiet fun, music and so on.

At this beach, you will find a toilet, a bar, and a restaurant for small snacks. Also, there are an area for families, none families, and nudists. So, the place has a spot for everyone. However, the entrance ticket costs 9 Euro and one drink is included in the price. Considering the basic infrastructure of the place, it is kind of expensive. I visited at the beginning or May 2024. Generally, I spent nice time here.

A nice swim hall, usually really clean and on most days not very crowded (especially not if you can come earlier in the day or in the evening). You do need to bring a 2€ coin for the locker but you get it back once you leave. It is a little confusing to find the room with the jumping tower but that might just be me and my confusion. It is also wheelchair accessible!

The infrastructure is good and it opens until late. However, the swimming people there just do not care about other people. I got hit or kicked by other people MANY times EVERY TIME I went to this swimming pool. Some people just swam backwards onto my body and didn’t feel sorry. I’m sure that I’m following the rules and I’m almost never hit by anyone in other swimming pools. I read other reviews and there are also other people complaining about this. The staff just sit there and chat and did nothing. It’s so sad that this good swimming pool is not well managed.

Very relaxed place. Perfectly suited for children. It has 30 and 40cm heated water playgrounds. Also, there is an olympic size pool and 135cm for older children as well.

We went to the swimming pool this evening with my wife. The place has so kindful crew. I lost my wedding ring in the pool. The pool crew was looking for my wedding ring. One of them dive in the water and found the ring. The team includes super heros. Thanks for their help ☺️

Great pool. There are lots of sports clubs for kids. Parking is a bit of an issue, but proximity to Sbahn is very good. Prices for regular swimmers are also very reasonable for what you get.

Very nice beach, but can be crowded.

Pretty place to chill next to water. Lake is not very big, but the beach area is quite big. There is a nice sand territory, sand was also nice and clean. As well as there is a big green area covered with grass. There is a beach valleyball field and two table tennis. There is also many trees, so you can find lots of shadows. It’s a paid swimming place, costs 6 euro for adults, and 3 euro after 17. But be careful, the place is closing at 19. You can buy on territory Pommes, Wurst, some drinks. There are also water guards. In other words, full pack 🙂 Check it out.

July Summer

These days you need to be ready to spend some time in the line before enter. Slides are closed. Bar has only drinks, ice, pommes and curry wurst and you are not allowed to order food from any other restaurant because they won’t let you to pick it and enter again.

Very good lake for swimming and spending a warm day. Entrance is 6€.
The area is very big! There is both a sandy beach and grass area. You can rent chairs and buy food/icecream in the kiosk but you can also bring your own food and drinks. There are changing room facilities, toilets, showers, and a water slide going into the lake.
There is also a border in the water for children safety and a lifeguard on duty.
If you want to secure a place in the shade you should come when they open (or bring your own parasol) – but the line can be long still!

It was a mixed sunny and rainy day. When I arrived at the entrance with my baby in the stroller, it started pouring heavily. They told me they weren’t letting people in at the moment and that I couldn’t wait there. I found shelter under a tent, but they said I wasn’t allowed to stay. I started walking back and stood under a tree to protect myself and baby from the rain. Despite covering my baby in the stroller, he got very scared and cried a lot. I picked him up and hugged him, and we both got soaked. The storm lasted 10-15 minutes. I don’t understand why they couldn’t show some understanding or empathy and let us stay under the tent until the rain subsided. It’s such a shame because I really like the lake.

Book in advance and follow the time table, you have time to go in and leave. Pool has no heat (obviously) but was ok, they said around 20°C on June. I liked the experience, nice vibe, well organized.

We had such a fun time here! As an American I found it really reasonably priced. It’s such a cool concept. There are changing rooms but no real showers, just the ones right by the pool for rinsing off when you get in and out. The drinks were fine.

We arrived at the Badeschiff and the first contact with the security guard was not very pleasant. We booked the early time slot and had our breakfast with us. We were rudely told that this is forbidden since the Badeschiff is a not a swimming pool it is a open air restaurant. In the end only croissants are sold. We were there as family, so this was not what we expected…paying 8 Euro per person for two hours is already quite expensive. So the handling of the food topic is in our eyes appropriate. The setting is nice. The experience is great…but the approach and communication of the staff was not family friendly!

Prices are up, 8€ per person, 5€ after 6pm. You cannot bring own drinks or food. Swimming is possible until 8pm. It doesn’t matter if you have the subscription, you still have to queue to enter.

The outside showers finally work, umbrellas and seats are free of charge but usually not enough for the average number of visitors in summer. It is very small.

You can buy drinks, ice cream, pizza and some grill goodies with card only.

I still like the place because it’s well located and it’s a nice and safe swim thanks to the lifeguards, but it’s gotten too expensive to visit often.

I enjoyed having a casual swim in this Stadtbad! It was very clean, private rooms to change in addition to showers and a platform for hair drying! there were lockers with 1€ deposit which made life easier. The main pool is around 25m long, I was lucky that it was not crowdy. Also there are two platforms to jump from, but only available at certain times! What I enjoyed the most here was the salted pool, with all the Jaccuzzi effects, it kept me very relaxed till the end of the day! Moreover, there is also another area downstairs for kids, featuring a small pool where a part of it outdoors, it can surely be great in the summer! There is also one water slide, its nothing much, but surely the kids will enjoy their time there! The staff was also friendly in helping us choose which ticket to book suitable for our needs!

It’s a very clean swimming pool, with jazucci kind of pressurized water therapy that’s good for your body, outdoor heated pool in winter, and water slide, and also a huge swimming pool. I paid 7,50€ for a 3 hours session, totally worth it.

We went for baby swimming.
Clean changing room and spacious. They offer changing table for babies which is really thoughtful. Unfortunately there is only one baby changing table so we had to queue.
There is also a baby bed on the floor so that you could put the baby in it when you change clothes.
There are lockers in the changing room so bring 1 euro coin with you. Hair dryers cost 50 cents.
The staffs are friendly.
Baby swimming course was quite interesting and my baby loves it.
But the quality of water is not so good. My baby stayed in water for 30 -40 mins and he had rashes on his back. They disappeared few hours later but it would be good if the quality of water is better.

I love to go here on winter because the water is very warm. The locker room is really clean, shower room is also great. I frequently go here on winter because the temperature is very good to swim. Sad that it’s not open for a while now, but I hope the place improves for more exciting experience.
My experience in the pool was okay, just sometimes must be patient with the crowded visitors, but it’s not a big deal for me. You have to bring 1 or 2 euro coins to use locker and 5 cents to use hair dryer. It’s my favorite swimming pool in Berlin

Summer swimming in outdoor pools is open. (Disregard the message about closed pool—it refers to indoor pool.) 3 pools for swimming. One dedicated to lap swimming—a more open lap/circle swimming area and 4 designated faster lap lanes. I was swimming in faster lane and slower swimmers allowed me to pass—except of course the two jerky Americans. (One sped up to pass me then slowed down, so I had to swallow his kick splash for a lap. Twice!)

Found the showers had slightly low pressure, but that is to be expected at the end of the day when everyone is leaving. Awful staff! The staff and security here are very rude with people. Worst behavior ever! The staff are not nice with non-German speakers. You need to bring a physical ID with you which is as strong as passport. Even health insurance or student ID with your picture is not accepted. Very foolish rule. You have to bring your own lock as well.

I was pleased to find multiple saunas and one “Aufguss” every hour. It is very clean and has a nice terrace to get fresh air.

The sauna space is relatively small and could be very easily full. I was visiting it in autumn day and I wonder how full it could be in winter.

I could not think of a finer choice to stay in Berlin. The room was cozy, yet stylish. It’s a perfect combination of comfort and elegance, without being pretentious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were a nice treat. The location is hard to beat, on a lovely street in a nice neighborhood, with a number of trams and trains nearby. I’d be very happy to stay here again.

I love this hotel and go as often as I can. It’s in a really interesting neighbourhood, near good independent shops and places to eat. It’s within easy walking distance of the U-Bahn, or a tram. It’s full of history. The pool is brilliant and the sauna is good too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. But it’s rooms that are the icing on the cake, the Premium rooms are really good and amazing value. It’s not in the centre of Berlin but it’s well worth making the effort; it’s really good.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel, It’s in a great area of town, good sized rooms, good shower and great bar. However, were really disappointed that the pool was closed the whole time we were there due to a corporate function. The Pool policy is very unfair to guests who book well in advance and pool availability is only posted on their website two weeks ahead of time and needless to say it is not front of mind to go and check it. It is a pretty disingenuous policy. I believe all guests should be notified if the pool is going to be closed in advance of their stay. We booked in April and, without doubt, this major corporate event would have been booked into the the system at least 3 months before. I believe we should have been notified and given the choice to stay or go. As the pool and spa were a major reason for choosing the hotel, we were very disappointed. I recommend the hotel considers the hotel guests a little more in future.

Very nice hotel – stayed here to watch our daughter run Berlin marathon. Near to tram and train and good restaurants, decent size room – it fit a rollaway bed for our other daughter for one night. Pool was very nice – although we thought it would be heated, not sure what temp it was, but it was not warm!

Great location but v expensive for v basic facilities otherwise (no aircon, €20+ for croissant & coffee in morning etc). We arrived on one of hottest days of year and were put in a room at the top of ‘the tower’ (lots of stairs, no lift) and a small (ineffective) fan. When we complained we were basically told it was on us and that they couldn’t do any better. They did bring a second fan but we couldn’t use this, and sleep at the same time, due to the noise. Bar staff were really nice but, overall, doesn’t make up for the near €900 bill for 4-night stay. Think twice before booking this one.
