The worries of visiting a vet along with my pet is not a problem anymore! Ms. Scarlett was amazing and handled us very patiently even when my dog was super hyper and energetic. Looking forward to booking with you again. The doorstep service is very quick and one can get an appointment for the very best day itself!

Dr. Kathrin Brix came to our apartment to evaluate our cat, Thor. He has been having some stress-related digestive issues and Dr. Brix did an amazing job! Dr. Brix gave us some plant-based supplements to try on our cat and we all really hope it helps our little guy out. Dr. Brix was caring and explained everything incredibly well. I cannot recommend her enough! I also love that we did not have to put Thor in a crate and transport him to an animal hospital for the visit. As we all know, cats do not travel well so the convenience of having a vet come to our house for the visit was phenomenal.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! The worst vet ever!!! She came 1 hour late without saying sorry, she had to call her colleague to ask every single thing because she did not even know that a dog needs a rabies vaccination every 3 years if it travels… and many other things. They give out information via email that they are different from what they say once they are there. They send me a receipt where it says I have to pay for the vet delay!! Not only I had to wait one hour without any excuse, I also have to pay for her delay, the fact she had to stay longer because she did not know anything about her job… NEVER AGAIN!!!
And when I asked for clarification the only thing they said was that I can find all the information on their site. No comment. I won’t pay the receipt and they will receive a letter from my lawyer.

I am fine to be overcharged, but not how I was overcharged. I brought my rabbit in on Christmas with suspected ear infection that had progressed to imbalance. The bill was 250€ vs 109€ at my usual vet for the exact same condition and treatment a few months ago. This is not the problem. During the consultation I was told bun would be given an antibiotic jab and topical antibiotics. But suddenly a drip was rigged up and stabbed in without prior explanation (vitamin b) – bunny was held down several minutes for that. I was told bunny would be given “3 jabs” but what two were for were never explained, only in the invoice (for colic, and vomiting/motion sickness – both not issues we had). I would have been happy to hand over the +100€ directly for a Christmas midnight surcharge, rather than go through the charade of justifying it with a long painful drip and unnecessary medication. My rabbit is 10 years old, sick and stressed. It was surely not the time to stab vitamin B into him, when it can be given orally. I clearly said he was still eating. When a vet is willing to put him through what could be “harmless”, “momentary” pain for money, it naturally makes you wonder where they draw the line. For example, now i wonder whether my rabbit actually had the “minor overlong tooth” that you strenuously filed down, that was not there last month in his last checkup. And then tomorrow if he still eats little, I get to wonder if it’s because of the ear infection pain, or if it’s because his mouth is hurt from the procedure. Maybe this is too cynical but I did not have these doubts until I saw the 50€ vitamin B.

Upon recommendation we left our puppy there and after a day and 1300€ payment, we got a dying puppy.

Just why did we pay so much? I am so sad because we should have just stayed home with him.

The vets from this facility are only working for the money and not really wanting to help. No compassion also from the reception.

Horrible day.

I am looking after an elderly dog who somehow managed to tear up the packaging of a chocolate bar when I went out shopping. I panicked and got an Uber to the Praxis. The staff were so nice and saw me immediately. Got the dog to throw up and calm down. The vet was so nice with the dog and joked about how she poisoned herself with high quality Lindt chocolate, not the cheap stuff. Would definitely recommend.

We went to this clinic yesterday because our cat was dying and they had the necessary equipment to diagnose whether it was possible to save him or not. The vet and her team were very compassionate. They also offered us a room to ourselves to say goodbye to Vincent. It was a heartbreaking experience, but we felt we could make an informed decision and not let Vincent suffer any longer. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Shame on you for putting your financial benefits before the health of the animals; what kind of ethics do you people have!

If you love your animal please dont go here, all they care about is money.

The story:
We went with our cat yesterday to this clinic. The cat had been having diarrhea and was vomiting for almost a week. We wanted to go there to check if those symptoms are because of her kidneys or a parasite and because she was on the verge of dying.

Firstly, we had to wait two and a half hours, the cat pooped in her little basket and was drooling like crazy because it was so warm. Have in mind that the cat was already dehydrated so you can image her state when our turn came.

Second, we asked them to do a blood test and check her stool – the one we brought with us – for the stool they said they wont do it because they HAD NO TIME and for the blood they said it will cost us 600€!

The only good thing they did was give her the infusion.

We visited another doctor today and he detected that the cat had indeed parasites in her stomach and most of the symptoms were because of that. Shame on you for not testing her, she could have died because of you!

My cat wasn’t peeing for more than 30 hours, and I was so worried. The staff was however very careful, friendly and the doctor took his time to explain everything to me and to answer all my questions. They took my cat in for 3 days to cure him as he had a cystitis. He was well taken care of. The doctor didn’t speak much English, but even in German he spoke very very slowly and with easy words so that I could understand everything he was saying. I wish more German people did this! Thanks from me and from Sekhmet 🙂

Came to the Klinik on the weekend with my dog, after a 4 min talk with the Vet including 1 min Dog examination i was charged 220 Euros, taking advantage fully of every loop hole possible for extra charges. When i confronted the Dr about the price, he said that i should be thankful that he didn‘t charge me for other examinations (he didn’t do). I will never come back there!! Try to go to small family owned Klinik in berlin and not this one.

I got a bad feeling about this place and still can't kind of shake it. And now they have started lying and giving other information about our cats condition. We took our cat EVIE because it was the only place that had the proper equipment to examine her further. She was in good health visibly, but something was wrong internally, confirmed by 2 doctors just before. It was supposed to be a simple ultrasound, but they took blood tests and put her in an IV, not going to complain about thoroughness, our cat had been vomiting for 4 days. Our normal practice saw something odd in the x-ray which this place didn't. They didn't find anything, but decided to keep her for the night for DEHYDRATION. She had been seen by 3 doctors already, none of them mentioned that she is severely dehydrated and the last one even said that nothing indicates to dehydration, gums are pink as they should and there are no other symptoms. Okay better safe than sorry, I just want my baby to get better. I still didn't have a good feeling about this place. The next day we were waiting for a call to get her, nothing until 15, so I called. They said the doctor will call, but in the end the doctor didn't even bother to call it was the receptionist, no proper explanation they decided to keep her another night, again not playing with my baby's life. Not sure if the doctor even checked on her and decided this on her condition, but I believe no because visibly she looked like nothing was wrong. Also they nonchalantly said she is not eating which was disturbing. This cat eats twice a day and has access to hard food at all times, there hasn't been any issues with her eating, even when throwing up, she would just go back to eat. I felt extremely worried about everything and had little trust on their care. Finally we were able to pick her up after two nights, again THEY SAID THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. She hadn't been vomiting and everything seemed normal, but she had not acted any differently before, just the vomiting. I can expect her to have dehydration due to vomiting, but no symptoms no indication why you think this and when asked no explanation, this seems off. And to keep her on IV for two days indicates severe dehydration. We got her and she seemed frantic for some reason, it was weird. We got to the car and she was still frantic, well she had to pee, she had a FULL bladder. Evie is the kind of cat that won't and will not pee anywhere else than the litter box, she has been without peeing for hours due to this. So that she had to pee in the carrier in the car meant THEY HADN'T LET HER USE THE TOILET ALL MORNING and she couldn't in any possible way hold it. Also when we finally got EVIE out of the carrier her back leg was swollen and had a mark on it, some blood and no explanation on this or notice. Her front leg was also swollen probably due to the bandage, but this shouldn't happen! In the end I do not trust them, it was to squeeze as much money as they could, as they take a deposit of 1000eur, felt like they just wanted to use this rather than provide proper care. Due to lack of transparency, communication and care I wouldn't recommend this place. They should reimburse for the items that were destroyed due to the "accident", it's clear this was because they hadn't let her out of the cage to use the toilet. But I do not believe they will take responsibility or provide any explanation.

Edit: I had to drag information out, I had to call because no one contacted us. To us it was suspected gastroenteritis but now it is severe, why wasn't this said? Even the paper you gave us says suspected, pic below. Again not taking responsibility or providing explanation on all the things described above, DID YOU READ IT? They said everything was fine she was in good shape but kept due to dehydration and now the information changes. 3 other doctors she saw before you considered to be in good health except the vomiting. That reply confirms my review. Please share your examination and results with our practice so we can confirm.

My dog hated being there and I think reducing the wait time could have minimized her stress esp given she had cancer. I wish the practice would show more compassion in this regard. Booked an appointment, when I arrived I had to wait after everybody, even after people just coming in without an appointment hour. When I asked, the super unfriendly woman at the counter told me everyone of them has an appointment. Random people kept coming in and went inside before me even when my appointment was time wise already overdue. Super unprofessional, disrespectful and armature praxis. They charge you a big chunk of money for nothing and treat you badly at the same time. As soon as you step in, you can see that it’s not about your pet’s health, it’s all about the money. Whoever wants his pet to be in good health, don’t bring it over here, better find you a veterinarian who actually cares for your animal/pet and can really be helpful in the situation. Since when do veterinarians became money cash cows and forgot about the animals? These people here have the wrong profession and you better be aware and avoid it altogether. Doesn’t deserve a 1 Star if you ask me. A friend of mine came here in emergency with his dog in the middle of the night and they didn’t do anything about it. Said they can’t help. Turns they they could’ve, but the doctor wasn’t that knowledgeable regarding the condition. Imagine coming here in emergency with your pet and they tell you they can’t help you, but it’s because they are not that professional. He ended up paying 250 euros and his dog passed away! Don’t fall for their trap, find you a loving veterinarian!

This clinic is amazing. I was there a few days ago and they helped me and my cat. My cat had problems with her breathing for a couple of days and when I arrived they immediately made an X-ray. I waited for 1 hour and then we were send to their Treatment room. They told us what was going on with her, made an Cardiac ultrasound and gave us medicine. Now she is feeling better and is breathing as always. The clinic has competent doctors and assistants.

Our 2 year old Labrador Retriever Dog – Freida arrived a week back from India to Germany first time and we had to take her to the hospital at 2 AM in the morning as she was vomiting from late evening.

The Doctor and Nurse were very helpful – The Doctor spoke in English, gave immediate necessary medications to calm her down, also checked our dog thoroughly whilst answering all our questions.

This is a great place definitely.

I have to say that I was skeptical to come here because there are some bad reviews. However, I had no choice because I had an emergency that my dog ate something and it needed to come out as soon as possible.

We took her in and the nurse and doctor were so kind and loving to my dog. They did an emergency surgery for her. She had to stay two nights which I was not happy about because I wanted my baby back, but I had to do what’s best for her.

We picked her up and were seen by another doctor and nurse. So nice and loving.

We had a check-up. So nice and loving. Brought her back to get the stitches out and it was the same. So nice and loving to my baby.

Of course, all of this cost me a lot of money, but in the end I didn’t care because my dog is still alive and doing so well and the staff there were incredibly kind to me and my dog. Also, everyone spoke English with me which was very helpful in this kind of situation.

I’m grateful that everything went well and if I have an emergency in the future, we will go here again.

Thank you to everyone for saving my baby! ❤️ from Suzie also a big a thank you!

I forgot to mention that the cut and stitches they did must have been an amazing job because it was done so beautifully and clean. No issues or infections or anything! They did amazing work.

I’m so so glad I was referred to this clinic. They have time and time again proved why they are simply the best.

Other than being Tillie’s House Vet they recently completely saved her life and did everything to save her life which they did

They are professional and kind and caring and go out of their way to ensure the pets are at ease and taken care of and the owners worries are lessoned.

They set up a little area for me to sit with my Tillie whilst she received infusions and answered every single question I had.

Tillie is now at home recovering from pneumonia and I owe her recovery to them:)

Far from the city center but 100000% worth the drive/ train connection.

If your pet needs help take them there

I had a very good experience at this vet clinic for the treatment of my dog’s mast cell tumors and also a mamma tumor at the same time. Everyone was very kind and reassuring towards my anxious dog during examinations and I had time to ask questions and got a lot of information before the surgery. Also the (pretty complicated) surgery went very well and my dog is on a good way towards recovery. After the shock of a cancer diagnosis this clinic was probably the best place we could go to and I am very grateful to the clinic’s team of taking such good care of my dog

Very nice vet clinic. A bit far way from the city centre, but compensates in the level of professionalism from the vets. Dr. Nadja Goldbach is such a friendly and compassionate oncologist. For such a sensitive area, she always makes sure that all our questions are answered and well explained, and to reassure us. I’m very happy to have her taking care of my oldest cat.
So far, only nice experiences and cannot recommend it enough!

If you own small animals and have the possibility to bring them here, do so. The facility has all the medical equipment needed (example: our rats that had lung infections were placed in oxygen tanks while waiting, never happened before at other clinics – even though it really helps animals that can’t breathe).
Another aspect that really convinced us is how research-driven the employees are. They’re genuinely interested in knowing more and finding ways to help your animal. We’ve had two vets so far check on our rats and both offered so many resources and were very detailed in evaluating their health. The assistants are also very involved and friendly.
The FU clinic was recommended to us as the top choice for rat care and we fully believe that. Sometimes the waiting times are quite long, but it’s absolutely worth it. It’s a comforting feeling to know that your small animals are in the best care they can receive.

I’m so grateful to have found this emergency vet clinic open on Christmas Day. Dr. Florian and the staff were incredibly compassionate and understanding, showing genuine care for me and my dog during a tough time. The clinic is easy to find, very clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The English-speaking doctors and staff made communication smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone in need of exceptional care for their pets especially during emergencies.

We were seen without an appointment. Dog was sick, so it was an emergency. They had all the necessary staff there: x-ray, ultrasound, cardiologist rapid blood tests. The doctor (an Italian woman) was highly knowledgeable, it was clear that she studied a lot and is interested in doing her best work. To the reviews saying it’s expensive, yes it was. 850 euro bill. But it was not a surprise: the doctor told me what she thinks needs to be done, how much it costs, and only with my consent did the tests. I did not feel pressured to do anything I didn’t want. In the end I came away knowing that all the possible things that could be wrong were checked and imo it’s a better approach than a vet who checks one thing at a time, thus potentially leaving an undiagnosed condition to develop.

My dog was referred for an Ultrasound right before Christmas, after being sick for a week. We were both tired and anxious. The Bärenwiese team were friendly, kind, calm and saw her in a few hours – really not bad, with no appointment. They warned about Notfall costs, but the bill was absolutely reasonable. Even though my dog needs a follow-up scan, I felt much more at ease after she was seen. That’s priceless. They clearly aim to create a calm, warm, helpful environment. Thank you so much ☺️

English is spoken – which for me, for medical conversations is a huge help.

Extremely gentle with animals, especially cats, who can be very challenging. Very friendly. Excellent medical expertise. They take all the time in the world regarding explanations and making plans, always with the intent of working towards the best interest of the animal. Exceptional service. Exceptional people.

Best veterinary practice I’ve ever encountered. They are extremely prepared and empathic. They have a special protocol on how to deal with cats (like providing an exclusive cat waiting area and visiting rooms) and it makes a huge difference! My cat is always been aggressive with all vets so she needed to be sedated even for a simple visit, but here they managed to take her blood without sedation! Nurse Femke Sitter is a true cat whisperer!

I had a great experience here as a first-time visitor with my sick cat. Dr. Carl was very thorough and sweet with my kitty! Tech Jameson was so kind as well and shared detailed knowledge about my cat’s situation.

It was so reassuring to get fast, quality care for my pet so close to home. I’m so grateful for Onion River!

It is a very clean and nice facility. We will be regular clients for sure!

Every time I’ve been to ORAH, no matter which vet or tech I’m seeing that day, they have consistently provided a compassionate, humane, and trustworthy experience through fear-free handling and ethics. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference it’s been going to this clinic.

My dog has consistently been terrified at vet visits, so much that she’ll shake and shut down completely. However with the support and flexibility that ORAH has provided, she’s been accepting of cuddles and treats and has made markedly visible progress even after just a few months.

If your dog gets nervous at the vet, they provide a ton of support and make a huge effort to make the experience positive for your dog. Even small details are so meaningful and show the care and thoughtfulness of the staff. Instead of labeling your dog as “fearful” when making a treatment plan, the language they use reflects the goals for the visit. They refer to them as a “fear-free dog” instead — as in, we will use fear-free protocols to make this experience as positive as possible.

And on the human side of things, I’ve never felt rushed or pressured into treatment, everyone’s been up-front about our options and it’s clear they want what’s best for my dog. I’ve found the pricing to be comparable to other vet clinics in the area—but at ORAH, they’ll spend twice as much time if your dog needs it, so the value for the appointment is incredibly high. They offer an online pharmacy that can ship to your house, which is very nice.

Overall, it’s clear that the staff here put a TON of effort into making your pet as comfortable as possible, and their work improves the lives and welfare of so many animals. Special shoutout to Dr. Bradley and Lisa for making Senga feel more comfortable than she’s ever been at the vet, right from our first appointment. Thank you for everything you do!

The best experience at a vet hospital over ever had. The staff is TOP NOTCH. They were sweet and so kind to me as I was trying to figure out how to save my precious Golden. In the end, when I decided, with their help, to put him down, they were so kind to me and my daughter. When and if I have another dog, I’ll bring it here. Thank you again ORAH!! Thank you Dr. Karen Bradley for calling me WAY after hours to help my fears and concerns. What a blessing to me.

I’ve been taking my Cairn terrier to ORAH for 9 years. They were able to perform emergency surgery on him in-house the same day I brought him in (no need to transport my sick boy all the way up to BEVS) and continued to check in on his recovery after I brought him home. All the staff treat the animals and their owners with compassion and expertise, always present me with all treatment options and are respectful of my choices. I’m so grateful to ORAH for saving Winston’s life and making him a happier, healthier dog.

I have a three year old cat who has had skin reactions since she was born. I have spent thousands of dollars on this cat. In May 2024 I brought her in for her annual and was told i would be all set to have a shot refilled and there would be a note in chart. This is a shot that I have administered many of times myself. She has been since June 2024 without due to a liquid medication, however, her face is torn up and is in need of a dose. I was told they couldn’t refill medication without me bringing her in, which is another 80 dollars. The first receptionist said I see a note saying it is OK to fill shot, however they are refusing. In the past they have offered to have me take pics and send them to them, as this is a long standing issue with my cat. When asked why I am being told a different thing than what doctor said to me in May, they couldn’t answer. They are always trying to get you to spend more money, especially when they know what has/or hasn’t worked in the past. Very disappointed with ORAH as I’ve been a customer for a very long time!
