Came here having seen a great selection of brands on their website, women’s shoes specifically- was so disappointed when there were a total of 20 women’s shoes on display in a sad corner of the basement.
The toilets charge 1 euro and the automatic turnstiles charged me twice and still would not open. There was of course nobody there to assist.

We had two shopping bags full of clothes that we chose by ourselves, but on each floor we had a seller come to me and take out the clothes one by one from our shopping bags and put their stickers on the price tags, and they didn’t even offered me any greetings or services. that was really time-wasting and unpleasant.

I am totally disappointed by the store this time and they lost me as a client. After receiving a letter with information that as a customer having their Insider card, I am entitled to 20% additional discount on the already discounted prices, it turned out that Peek & Cloppenburg doesn’t count the items on sale as items with discounted prices. They differentiate between both – sale and reduced prices. With other words they are intentionally trying to trick their customers using misleading practices. This was a waste of time I don’t intend to repeat anymore.

Simply amazing experience! Shout out to Désirée, who was an absolutely incredible bridal consultant. She clearly has an enormous amount of experience and knows what she’s doing! With super attention to detail and my needs, she recommended a number of beautiful dresses very in line with what I was seeking. She was caring, helpful, and really went above and beyond, giving me useful advice and opinions but never being pushy. I am so happy there are people like Désirée out there making brides’ dreams come true! I would definitely recommend this shop to brides.
Of note, the prices are a bit higher than other shops for comparable designer dresses, and taking pictures of the dresses while trying on is not allowed. I still give 5 stars though, because the customer focus and experience was so great!

The shop has very little choices. I showed them a couple of dresses I liked from “their instagram page” that they just posted 1-2 days before. They said we don’t have these. Then why post them? I don’t understand. Anyways, in addition it looks like there is a huge selection of dresses. Nevertheless, I found very classic dresses in the selection and all of them look the same (from a different designer only). I couldn’t find any dresses that would WOW someone. very very traditional normal designs.

Eating a big slice of humble pie right now! I went to this shop without big expectations after having been to all the luxury wedding shops in Berlin. Cruz was the last place I had wanted to go to find my wedding dress. Was I wrong! Not only did I have the most fantastic experience here, but the sales associate was knowledgable, great with my friends, and extremely helpful. This was by far better than every experience I had at kaviar gausche and zo and willow. Highly recommend, happy I went, and even more thrilled that I found my dream wedding dress at this shop. They deserve it!

I bought a veil and floral attachment that I really love! It goes great with my dress, which was bought second hand. Not at the store.
However I was not treated very nicely by the shop venders. I didn’t make an appointment for my second drop-in to buy the veil, which is bad on me…. But also I’m alone in Germany buying wedding attire without my mother, without family to guide me.
I’m not accustomed to making reservations for such things. I’ve never done it before.
They were aggravated that I showed up without an appointment and then were annoyed that I didn’t bring a piece of paper that had prices for the pieces i was interested in from my first visit….shouldn’t they know the prices??…I didn’t know I was supposed to bring this back.
I’m happy with my purchase but in no way did I feel comfortable or encouraged in buying my veil which is considered an important purchase for a special day.
I was left with discomfort. Good prices and nice pieces but my encounters were cold and uncomfortable. Make an appointment always. Learn from my mistakes.
Also I do not speak German. Maybe this was part of the issue but is unfortunate regardless :/

I found my dream wedding dress at Balayi. I was surprised by the good service – I was allowed to browse through all their dresses and try on the ones I liked. After 8 different dresses I found my dream dress.
Also the service with at the atelier was good. I had three appointments and every time, they had made the dress the way I wanted. Even when I was there to pick up my dress two days before my wedding and the dress needed some adjustments, they helped me out and changed the dress immediately.
All in all a good experience!

Beautiful dresses, but disappointing service. Compared to many other wedding shops in Berlin, Balayi has a wonderful selection and I was able to find my dream wedding dress thanks to the lovely consultant Antonia. She was very professional and accommodating to my requests. However, after purchasing the dress (which was very expensive) the service did unfortunately not meet the same high standards. The fitting process was quite frustrating as the tailor did not seem very willing or capable to make the necessary adjustments. After my wedding I delivered my dress to Balayi for dry cleaning and a minor repair. When picking up the dress, I noticed that some threads on the sleeves had come loose after the dry cleaning. I pointed this out to the staff member and she said the tailor must have forgotten to fix it. She sent it back to the tailor and returned with the dress 10 minutes later. I was shocked to see the poor and unprofessional repair by the tailor. When I pointed this out to the staff member, she said there was nothing they could do about it as “they did not have the correct sewing machine for the dress” (which had been damaged during their dry cleaning)!! I told them that I would need to send the dress to another tailor for repair and asked for a discount on the dry cleaning/repair (which was unreasonably expensive). The staff member, however, refused to give me any discount and just said that Balayi could not not be held accountable for the repair. It was an unpleasant experience and I´m very disappointed about the way they treat customers who have purchased exclusive wedding dresses in their bridal shop. In conclusion, great wedding dress options, but poor service!

Balayi Brautmoden Berlin has been extremely professional and helpful upon receiving an inquiry from me regarding two dresses they did not have in store. Within a day they not only responded but also contacted the dress brand and had ordered two sample dresses so I would be able to actually try them on before purchasing. This was really an exceptional service since most other stores will demand that you but the dress before they order one for you, and as a bride you obviously want to try the dress on first. They, particularly Badegül, have been so quick with responses and have my warmest recommendations.

While the bridal studio offers a personal consultation and a good selection overall, I was specifically looking for simple, clean dresses ideally under €1500, but also was willing to go up to €2000 for a good option, still they only had a handful of dresses in this style and budget — I didn’t find anything I liked. There’s also a €50 consultation fee, only deducted if you make a purchase. Considering many other bridal boutiques in Berlin offer the same experience for free, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you’re certain they have the style or brand you want.

Ypu should visit this shop I had a really nice experience in this shop, even though my German language is not the best I had such wonderful people to assist me. I am grateful for my advisor Yvonne she is amazing ❤️ Yvonne made our stay nice and welcoming with a glass of champagne as soon as we reached our booth, she understood what my style was and was very open to let me try on different dresses. I picked 3 different ones and all 3 were very pretty but the last one was a dream! I requested to be able to come back and try it one more time so that my sister would be able to see it (she was traveling from another country) and I was able to book another meeting. My sister loved the place and the people, also loved the dress on me therefore we decided on the spot to get it. I was very lucky to be there on black week and I was able to buy the sample dress below my budget which was 50% off (huge discount). I just bought my wedding dress from Hochzeitshaus and could not be happier. My fiancé (who is also a woman) and I decided to get appointments together and the staff at this shop made us feel so special. Alessia helped my fiancé and Chantal helped me along with their seamstress, Juliane. They kept our appointments separate but also coordinated with each other when my fiancé and I wanted to show one another a dress we had on. While my fiancé didn’t find her perfect dress at Hochzeitshaus, the staff were still very polite with her and did not make her feel pressured to make a purchase in haste. I, however, was lucky to find my dress right away. I took about 2 weeks to think it over before purchasing, but ultimately went with the dress I loved from Hochzeitshaus.
Once I confirmed the purchase, I was helped by Juliane, their in house seamstress, who was super helpful and easy to work with. I had 3 fittings total with 2 rounds of alterations and I am very happy with how my dress fits. Chantal was also present at every one of my fittings.
The staff at this store are a delight to work with and made me feel calm and special each time I was there.

I went there because I needed a dress for a mask ball, and I couldn’t have been more happy. It was kind of last minute, but I got an appointment easily. It got even easier after that- I found the perfect dress within the first 15 minutes – I told Agnieszka the direction I wanted to go in and my new dress was among the first three she brought. I couldn’t have been more happy – particularly as I got quite a few compliments at the ball for the dress;) oh, and last but not least- the price was more than fair. I will definitely come back when it’s time for the next dress!!

A dream come true! Beautiful dresses and gowns… Highly recommended for special occasions such as weddings, balls, graduations and the like. The prices are very competitive, and, astoundingly, not higher than online offers. However, the quality and selection of the gowns is much superior. An additional plus that makes it totally worth visiting the brick and mortar shop is the service. The engagement, kindness, sincerity, professionalism and good taste of these super friendly women made my 15-year old daughter feel like a real princess. For me, it was a wonderful experience to see my beautiful daughter in that green dress that matched her eyes, being treated like royalty for a day. Thank you!

I went there to try on a few dresses and understand what style will suit me. The consultant was super friendly. She offered to speak in English for my ease, gave me enough time to think, asked me about my choices, helped me with putting on the dresses and explaining what style would look good on me. I came back with a better idea of what I wanted.
On the other hand, the men’s section is quite small and doesn’t have a lot of choices. The consultant was nice but not very attentive. However, my partner did also come back with a changed view of what could look good. The quality of the dresses is quite good and ranges from a few hundred onwards. In summary, it was a very helpful consultation.

I went to this store with my wife I was kinda struggling with my German and Turkish language and I had a hard time understanding anyone. Fortunately, there was a dear and kind Afghan lady and she is a sales person there, she treated us super nice and after spending some time showing my wife all the pretty dresses, she recommended the best one with an affordable price. My girlfriend bought her beautiful wedding dress from LAFANTA. We are so happy to find this store which can make customer-made dresses. She has some very special requests( red dress with black lace) and LAFANTA could full fill all her wishes! The store is very nicely decorated and the staff are helpful, patient and very kind. The price of the dress is reasonable and the whole process is clear and uncomplicated. Since we need the dress very urgent – in 2 weeks, the tailor from LAFANTA made an over-weekend fitting for us: efficient and professional. And the final result is more than satisfied. We are so happy with the dress and can’t wait for the wedding! We highly recommend LAFANTA to every bride!

I approached Lafanta for alteration service and fix my dresses. Lafanta not only took my opinion into consideration and altered it the way I wanted and honestly, it has exceeded my expectations! The service is fast and I could get my dresses within 2 weeks. Even though I don’t speak German, Lafanta staff was patient in communicating with me and trying to understand what I wanted to convey. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the tailor (the in-house tailor is very pushy, rude and not interested in her work, but at the actual tailoring work she is fine).
