Im new in Berlin and what was the best thing to do on your second day? Attending to Yoga, the receptionist super kind and helpful, love the venue, but once we start the ceremony with Rebecca, everything went so incredibly, she brought us into a journey for acceptance and appreciation, also was so kind to give the session in a English, the 90 min went pure joy. Totally recommend if your are visiting Berlin or looking forward a pace to connect with yourself

I don’t usually write feedback very willingly, but this time it’s worth it! Peace Yoga Berlin has given me back that bit of zest in my practice: after a period of a much more introspective life and less dedication to yoga on the mat, I have returned to practicing in person, and I think I’ve landed in the right place at the right time. I wanted my practice to be reflective and absorbing, undisturbed by irrelevant external factors, but at the same time with a touch of challenge! The studio’s environment conveys exactly this. And the experience of the teachers is one of the reasons.

10 out of 5! For years I’ve seen people in the morning around Glogauer str with their yoga mats and looking absolutely blissed out. Only this summer (I say this not without pain in my heart lol) have I started coming to class here and boy let me tell you, I feel fantastic. Amazing classes, amazing instructors. Unlike any yoga I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never felt so strong and comfortable in my body.
I usually don’t take the time to write lengthy reviews but yeah, if you have doubts about trying this studio – no you don’t.
Be ready to surrender and have your life changed.

I’m grateful I had a possibility to experience Peace Yoga Berlin during my travels. It’s a beautiful studio with calm atmosphere and kind people. This was my first Jivamukti yoga class and it was a beautiful, challenging, sweaty, wise, inspiring and touching practise taught by Juan Sierra. I can warmly recommend the school and especially this class for more experienced yogis. When I come back to Berlin some day, I certainly know where to go and do my practise. Thank you!

Amazing studio very spacious, bright, clean, modern with a plenty of yoga equipment! Especially enjoyed little tea area where you can have water or tea with a lovely view. Also has a small shop with cozy yoga essentials.
Went to a strong yoga flow and it was definitely both pleasant and challenging experience with clear explanation! Thanks so much! Can’t wait to come again!

We loved the hypnosis class. It was exactly what was needed after a day exploring the city. The aesthetics of this studio are simply stunning. The teacher was warm, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and 5 stars from us. Loved the cute little shop too. We’ll be back when we pass through Berlin again.

The studio is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful ambiance that immediately makes you feel relaxed and welcome. The space felt like a calming retreat in the very central location they have in the city.
I attended the postnatal Yoga class with my baby. The class itself was perfect, offering a mix of gentle relaxation and full body strengthening moves. Toni, the instructor, was fantastic at guiding us while also involving our babies in the session, making it a truly special experience. I left feeling rejuvenated and connected, both with myself and my baby.

Such a nice space! I can recommend going Friday lunch time to the Pilates class, it was the perfect combo between challenging core and glute exercises and empowering motivation from the coach, thank you!

I recently attended a yoga class, and I must say it was a great experience. The session was highly effective, with plenty of asanas, and it was at an advanced level, which finally suited me. Too often, yoga classes are too easy, and I don’t feel the muscle engagement or intensity I’m looking for. However, here I definitely felt my muscles working, and I really enjoyed that aspect.
The instructor was attentive and professional, regularly checking on us to ensure we were performing the poses correctly and providing adjustments when needed.
The only downside for me was that the Shavasana was too short. Just as I lay down and covered myself with the blanket, it was already over. I wish it could have lasted a little longer to fully relax and enjoy the moment.

I enjoy coming here so much! It’s a clean and comfortable place at the same time, it has a nice vibe that helps calming your mind after a long day and the trainers have always been so wholesome. Definitely my favorite place in Berlin for yoga

Whether you live in Berlin or are just visiting, Green Yoga Berlin offers a fantastic and enriching yoga experience. With ‘pay what you want’ classes that even help plant trees, friendly and professional teachers, and a variety of sessions—from Yin Yoga and Hatha to Vinyasa and Prenatal Yoga—this studio is truly special.
Located in the lovely Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood, the studio has a relaxed, earthy vibe. They also host cool events like ecstatic dance and Yoga retreats at SEZ Friedrichshain every weekend, where you can meet like-minded people from all over the world. It’s like a more chill, sober, mindful, and nurturing version of Berghain and Kit Kat combined! 🙂 A must for anyone who hasn’t experienced it yet.
If you’re looking for a great community, Green Yoga Berlin is the place to be.
Amit Chandihok

Sorry. One of the worst yoga studios in Berlin. But mainly because of space issues. They allow way too many people in the class and only a third should be allowed. I understand one has to make the business run, but making people cramp and making them not wanting to come back is not the best business model.
L S

Lovely small Yoga studio. Very welcoming. Recommending lessons with Jan, but have heard from friends that other teachers are great as well.

I recently tried yoga at a studio that uses warm lamps to heat the space to 31°C, and I must say, it’s quite an effective method. The heat really helps to warm up the muscles, making it easier to stretch and relax deeply. There’s a lot of sense in this approach, especially during colder months.
The studio has a spacious hall with a pleasant and calming atmosphere, which adds to the overall experience. I can definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a cozy way to stretch and unwind in winter.
However, I found the program itself to be a bit short. It would have been great to include more asanas, as I felt some areas of my body were left under-stretched.
That said, the effect was noticeable, and it’s an excellent option for those who want to stay warm while practicing yoga. Many studios lack warm air during winter, which makes this concept stand out. Just watch out for the cold wind outside once you’re done!

It’s a Lovely studio with brand new fully equipped amenities and they even have yoga gear for sale.
I had Clemens for Original hot yoga and it was great. The room was heated and spacious enough to be not overcrowded. The instructor was really soft spoken yet assertive enough to push you deeper into each pose. He was ensuring that each student was “okay” and not passing out. Very respectful and professional teacher. Remember it’s bikram so it’s very structured and it’s always the same 26 poses in a super hot room so you are drenched by the time you are done.
Bring your mat, 2 big towels, and a big water. Another great thing I noticed and appreciated is they sell 1L of water for 2 euros as oppose to something overpriced in other studios.
Jean Du

Great Studio and Great instructor!
I was practicing the original hot yoga here and I really enjoy the space. The instructor Patty was great! She corrected the positions and every time she walked around made sure everyone was doing ok. The instructions she gives are clear and during the whole practice she’s paying attention to students. Unfortunately just a few instructors really take time to correct.
My only complain is that students do not stay for the shavasana at the end of the class and everyone hurries, which doesn’t allow the others to really get in this part of the class. It would be nice if instructors would give some hints about this.
Other than that I can really recommend!
Claudia Casiano

Nice yoga studio. It’s a bit hidden so it’s best to check how to get there to avoid arriving late. They have a nice video on their page showing how to get there.
The studio is nice and the amenities are great (shower, hair dryer, etc).
I recommend the hot yoga classes. They’re good and the room gets freshened up after the session.
I also tried a Warm Vinyasa class once (I don’t remember the teacher’s name) but the experience was not the greatest. I don’t consider myself a beginner, but I’m far from being an advance yogi, and although the class description said it was suitable for all levels, I found many poses to be for advanced yogis. She offered no alternatives whatsoever, and did not ask beginners not to perform certain asanas (head/handstands) if they were not familiar with the poses.
I myself know what my limits are, but some others might not, and they might try without considering the danger. That’s very incompetent from the instructor as a friend of mine told me she attended a class where a girl broke her nose. Considering one can sweat a lot in such a class (Warm Vinyasa), that should be even more important to mention.
L S

Excellent yoga studio. I have been coming here for more than a year weekly and it never disappoints. It is clean, peacefull, the teachers are kind and patient and offer the best advice. I have had classes with almost everyone and they are all consistent. Highly recommended (and please don’t mind the other negative reviews, there are always two sides of the same story) 😉 ❤️

Went on a full moon ceremony here. ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD. The location was somewhere at the park, and there were no signs or a specific location there, and the facilitator didn’t bother to stand somewhere so we could find her. The participants were confused and after a quarter of wandering around, we finally found them. She just started right away and didn’t even introduce herself and barely talked to anyone. Almost no instructions for asanas, breath works, and somatic movements were given as if we were all professionals coming from India! Unfortunately, I brought a friend who was new to this, and I’ll bet he won’t be doing yoga or anything else with this experience
It felt like all of the ceremony was just a show. I am so sorry

I generally like this studio very much, and I’ve been using these classes to help balance my mind and body. I’ve had quite a bad day today and wanted to finish it on a high note with a relaxing Yin Yoga class. But I mistakenly had in mind that it starts at 20:30 instead of 20:15 and consequently I arrived 7 minutes too late to find a locked door and a sign asking me not to knock. This had made my already bad day even worse.
I respect your choice to set this boundary and am using my power as a reviewer to protest this choice alongside a suggestion to experiment with a new process for late comers. E.g. instruct late comers to self check in and show themselves in quietly in order to respect others experiences.

I’m visiting this place since 2022, I love all yogas classes I tried. But I would like to say big thank you for the teacher Ms. Elif. She is making very magical lessons and helping to transform our life for better. Really appreciate and huge grateful for this opportunity. Best wishes and prosperities for All of us. Namaste

I have been going multiple times a week for the last month to this yoga studio. I previously went several months ago to this studio and did not enjoy the experience while I have since begun to enjoy the studio very much. I will say that I think this studio is a little challenging for a beginner. For a beginner I would recommend the yin classes or the foundations classes with Alex and maybe do several of those classes before advancing to the flow classes. Some teachers demonstrate more than others – for instance in Minas classes there is a lot of visual demonstration. I am not completely a fan of the dictating instead of demonstrating style, which is more prominent in other classes. I understand the value of good diction, but many of us are also visual learners. Students can be forced to look around at others in the class and copy them and this gives way for misalignment and error. Once you are familiar with the alignments, and are familiar with Sanskrit names, this style of diction is not bad. If you understand the cues properly your alignment will improve. As far as the classes being crowded, most weekday early morning and noon classes are a comfortable size (although Alex’s can be quite packed). I have also learned to come early and that way I can see better when poses are demonstrated, and am not overwhelmed by the size of the class. I do enjoy that the instructors actually do seem very knowledgeable, and I believe there is potential to personally grow in your practice at the studio. I enjoy the challenging pace of the classes. Overall, as i am growing in my practice, learning the names of the asanas, coming early, I am enjoying the studio more and more. For a monthly subscription it is a very good value, and I am very happy. Its not a perfect studio but the atmosphere is nice and it feels free from judgment with kind people – students and teachers. Its a studio that you can grow in.

My eight-year-old daughter loves gymnastics, dance, and movement. For her birthday she requested something special and since I know the studio myself, I was excited about the possibility to do it there. We invited 9 friends of hers to a one-hour aerial Yoga for kids session and it was absolutely phenomenal! Despite the number of girls and all their many questions and excitement the teacher, Sonja, was extremely patient, kind and encouraging. She managed to give each child attention and a feeling of success. The girls flapped their butterfly wings together, swung, climbed, and flipped upside down as a group and even had a relaxing, meditative, ending with guided imagination. We went to have Pizza and cake afterwards and the girls were simply elated. Throughout the week after the session, we received messages from the parents about what a special, unique, and fun experience it was. I cannot recommend and thank Soul Yoga and Sonja specifically enough! An unforgettable experience for your child which you will not regret.

I did the aerial basic dynamic flow with Harsh. I couldn’t be more delighted with it! The studio is cosy, and very well equipped. Harsh was a wonderful teacher. The poses were very well explained, with a variation for all skill levels. He was funny and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

I rented SOULYOGA for a private event (Accelerator module and sound bath) and can highly recommend working with SOULYOGA’s team and using the studio. The studio and the available equipment exceeded my expectations and allowed us to create the perfect atmosphere for delivering the module and the sound bath to 25 people.

Studio was nice with all the amenities needed to carry out the classes. I’ve been to four classes with four different teachers two of them were really good and then the other two felt very new to teaching and even quite beginner level professionalism (class starting late, finishing early, not finishing or forgetting full sequences even, or just lacking proper technique explanation).
Definitely would come back but not to every class

Beware: the studio is not big enough to fit all the 55 spaces that they open on urban sports. The classes are therefore extremely packed, you’re 3 cm away from neighbor; some people have to put their mats in cold corridor behind a pillar where the teacher is not visible anymore. Really a shame bc the space looks beautiful but as long as they pack their classes like sardines in a can I will not be revisiting.

After searching for multiple years, this is by far my favourite yoga studio in Berlin. The owners handpick their teachers and put all of their love into this space. The yoga mats they have on site are super high quality and no-slip, and the space very cozy. Highly recommend!!

I had this week Yoga community class with coach Tijana and was amazing! She also prepared some tea and black chocolate for us, which after work I really needed! The space is clean and nice, they provide the yoga mats and pillows. Location is central in Prenzlauer Berg. I fully recommended it as a top yoga place in town!
Vladimir Gluhovic

The studio has excellent teachers and a good variety of classes, but the space itself is not inviting. No ambiance, stuffy or sometimes smelly air, dirty floors, and items scattered around. I noticed on Instagram that a dog was walking in the studio (the dog is sweet, nothing against lil buddy), but it kinda emphasized how unclean the floors are – just as dirty as the outdoors.

Today was my first time trying prenatal class in this studio. The class itself was good but a couple of things made my experience less enjoyable: the floor was not very clean, neither were the yoga mats (they were also not wiped clean at the end of the class, the only cleaning products available were 2 bottles of disinfectants and no microfiber towels to clean with), no music was played at all, not even during Shavasana. Overall, I felt that the class itself was good and I would have liked to go again, but I probably won’t. Even the sink in the bathroom was dusty … It didn’t seem to me like the studio is cleaned regularly, unfortunately.
Julia Kramer

After years looking for a good yoga studio, I am so happy to have found mine. It offers many kinds of yoga classes with very good teachers, excellent schedule system, good prices, and most of it, you feel very confortable by not being in one of these “fashion” yoga studios, it is a REAL one for REAL people.
Michelle-Marie Letelier

I was at the studio in Stargarderstrasse. It was cold and smelled really bad, so did the mats, blankets and blocks – all kind of neglected. The necessity to go to the second floor to change and then go via a common staircase back to first floor to the studio is very inconvenient. The sign up process seemed very unprofessional – I had to fill in a paper form, which was then re-typed in an ipad in front of me (I could have done that immediately, without the paper…), and then was given a paper card with the classes I paid for. A very outdated approach with lots of redundant paper. The class as such and the teacher was really good, but the context in which I practice is really important for me and cold and bad smell are not something I would enjoy nor recommend to others.
Michaela

The place is nice in General,
normally in the evenings it is really full and too crowded.

It is a very nice yoga place with a very positive and motivating atmosphere, and the teachers are also very attentive. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing amazing amazing class with Karl. So worth waking up early on a Saturday. True bliss. Left super relaxed. I loved the studio also.
CDM

I’ve been to this place quite frequently over the last years as a USC member and tested different classes. Generally it’s a nice place and atmosphere and I usually think the classes have a good intermediate level.
However, I wanted to leave this feedback for a while as I experience the same issues almost every time:
– time management: I think I have not been to a class in the whole last year, that closed on time. Average extension is 15 minutes, I once experienced even 25 minutes although I indicated I have to leave on time. I have a small child at home and need to arrange child care when I go to Yoga. Not every class student is a woke person with no responsibilities….
– instructions: most classes are well challenging and I like this. However, I am not an advanced yogi and most of the time teachers are just fully pulling through their Yoga show. I often have the feeling it’s more about self profilation than actual teaching. They hardly sense the levels and demands in class but just show off their amazingness.
I would welcome if teachers are more accommodating and respect time schedules.
Kathrin Kirste

Love the classes in this studio, they offer a big variety of styles to choose from. I really like Daniele’s classes on Saturday with the gong bath at the end, so relaxing.
filippinilisa

Waste of time and unprofessional. I booked yesterday an online meditation class, waited 20 Minutes nobody appeared. Sorry this is lack of respect and of organisation at the highest level. Just update your classes on USC!!!!
