Always very nice vets. Home visit makes it easy to get a simple checkup and vaccinations with minimal stress on our two 4-legged children. Thank you!

The worries of visiting a vet along with my pet is not a problem anymore! Ms. Scarlett was amazing and handled us very patiently even when my dog was super hyper and energetic. Looking forward to booking with you again. The doorstep service is very quick and one can get an appointment for the very best day itself!

Dr. Kathrin Brix came to our apartment to evaluate our cat, Thor. He has been having some stress-related digestive issues and Dr. Brix did an amazing job! Dr. Brix gave us some plant-based supplements to try on our cat and we all really hope it helps our little guy out. Dr. Brix was caring and explained everything incredibly well. I cannot recommend her enough! I also love that we did not have to put Thor in a crate and transport him to an animal hospital for the visit. As we all know, cats do not travel well so the convenience of having a vet come to our house for the visit was phenomenal.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! The worst vet ever!!! She came 1 hour late without saying sorry, she had to call her colleague to ask every single thing because she did not even know that a dog needs a rabies vaccination every 3 years if it travels… and many other things. They give out information via email that they are different from what they say once they are there. They send me a receipt where it says I have to pay for the vet delay!! Not only I had to wait one hour without any excuse, I also have to pay for her delay, the fact she had to stay longer because she did not know anything about her job… NEVER AGAIN!!!
And when I asked for clarification the only thing they said was that I can find all the information on their site. No comment. I won’t pay the receipt and they will receive a letter from my lawyer.

It’s so nice that the doctors can come to the pet hause so they don’t get extra stress when they are sick. People super friendly and prepared with medication. Also you receive an overview with all the treatment information and so on.

This place is bright, clean, sorted and fresh thanks to air conditioning.
The staff is friendly and open to answer any question. Unfortunately they don’t have toilets for visitors.
I had the feeling that they have a huge diversity in animal food and in leashes for cats and dogs.
You should call at open hours to make sure your desired article is available. Sometimes the online shop shows availability but actually it’s not.

We got puppy a week ago and then a second one. They were able to help us. English speaking staff, nice people, helpful. Will definitely back

Turned away at door because only one cashier booth was open, and they’d rather station several people at the door refusing entry instead of opening a 2nd or 3rd cashier to serve the customers. Welcome to Germany, nothing is open tomorrow. I hope my elderly dog will survive. Thanks Fressnapf. Top notch customer service.

Great if you want to just feed your dog or cat, but horrible if you want good quality cat treats, toys, or any kind of care supplies like brushes and clippers and such. Also was very messy, with unpacked palettes of products taking up multiple walkways.

Like this place, i went there to buy my cats some snack and food. If you able to use their application you will get 5%off which is nice
Went there twice, the first visit many variants of wet food out of stock but the second one they just refill the stock.
Minus 1 star because they don’t have hills in store

I can’t rave about this place enough! I’ve been grooming my dog at home for years because of her anxiety, but it’s become too difficult.
This was exactly what I needed, and I got my girl scrubbed, rubbed, rinsed, and blown out in about an hour – it takes me 4 HOURS at home.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, and every stall has a call button if you need help.
I was able to get shampoo AND conditioner with a low scent – the water pressure was fantastic, and the water was the perfect temperature. They have plastic aprons, so I didn’t get soaked.
The blow dry station was also elevated! I appreciated having two dryer settings so I could use a high power on her body and a softer setting for her ears and face.
I won’t be grooming at home anymore! This place is the best!!!!

We love Dirty Dog and so does our girl. Staff is friendly and so accommodating. Tubs are easy in and out. Supplies are abundant with many choices to choose from. Our girl always looks amazing after having the talented groomers do their magic.

I used to take my old Labrador here for grooming and always had an amazing experience. He had bad hips and lots of fear of baths but always was excited to come and happy. Once he passed and we got our new little chocolate lab I knew I had to bring him here for baths. I use the self service tubs and always have an amazing experience, every time. The staff are so nice and patient I will never take any of my dogs anywhere else.

First time visit was fine, even if they didn’t cut his nails or clean the hair from his ear, which they need to couse I have a poodle and they are getting infections if it’s not done, thought they just forget, and I extra remind them on next appointment. First time they charged 50e.
Today I went there again and I was telling them about the ears and nails, which still they didn’t do, so I return the dog to redo it, but the biggest shock was when she charged 90e! For cut, and by cut I mean just about trimming the legs and the head, also they didn’t do any cut around the bum which I saw late. My dog is mini poodle
Since I was sitting there all the time, I saw how they don’t pay any attention to the dogs and dogs are suffering while they are grooming them, but they just don’t care. Also they are not giving any kind of bills, so my opinion stay away from black market saloons
xXNiceNicexX 333

It’s easy to get an appointment in short notice here and the prices are average. My dog doesn’t like getting her hair cut but the groomers are nice and do a good job.
Christine

The service here is absolutely horrible. They gave my dog an uneven cut and put a terrible patch on his skin from their razor and then lied about it being there before. I strongly feel they are abusing the dogs that they receive: my dog is terrified once we enter the place and the other dogs in the salon are always screaming out of fear. The energy is never relaxed in the place. My dog is traumatized from their abuse. I can unfortunately NOT recommend this place to anyone. There are other better groomers in Berlin. There is a reason this one is the cheapest, because their quality is inferior.
Kaschief Johnson

Awful service, my mom took our dog who’s a small shih tzu to get a trim and she left patches on him, some parts on his body were literally red and today we had another appointment there but had to cancel it last minute cause he started to throw up, our shih tzu randomly gets sick from nothing sometimes it happens and we wrote a nice message apologising for cancelling last minute and all and she sent a vc in a pissed off tone saying it’s REALLY bad to cancel last minute and talked really awfully to us. Good riddance honestly so glad we’re never going back there
gül x

Just horrible. Never going back there. Dog came back with an uneven cut, if we did the cut at home we would have done a better job. They clearly didn’t know how to handle this breed (West Highland White Terrier) and all of the breed characteristics were simply taken away in the cut (in the phone call we informed them about the breed, if they didn’t know how to handle it, they could have just denied the appointment, that would have been fine).

The Tiermedizinzentrum Berlin offers a truly compassionate atmosphere where pets receive the highest quality of care. Their staff is well-trained and communicates effectively, ensuring both pets and owners feel comfortable during visits. I appreciated the kind attention and the thorough explanations provided by veterinary professionals.
Additionally, the clinic demonstrates a commitment to effective treatments without unnecessary upselling, which is often a concern in veterinary practices. The overall environment fosters a sense of trust, making it an excellent choice for pet owners seeking reliable medical assistance for their furry companions.

After 6 years with them, and having visited other clinics, I do not recommend visiting here. 1 doctor wanted to euthanize my animal several times, and it pulled through each one. On the last visit, they refused to operate on some small external skin tumors with a wound, and they did not give me any alternatives, just to wait. I went to another clinic, and apart from having septicemia because of the wait, they operated on her successfully. In the clinic, only one of the doctors is worth it, it’s difficult to get an appointment with her, but unfortunately, she was also of the opinion not to operate, even when she didn’t see my pet in person.
Pablo Martin

My cat died just after visiting this clinic. I thought that being an ‘Evidensia’ clinic gave them a good reputation and quality. No words can describe enough the suffer and pain I have. I wish I could report or sue this clinic.
On February I requested the first appointment with Dr. Kurt Helmich because I wanted someone experienced and our regular doctor (Kleintierspezialisten in Tegel) was on vacations. My cat was coughing when he purred, that’s all he had: only a cough. Indeed, my cat was very old and had many illnesses but everything was under control and for years all blood tests were stable. The doctor there basically did nothing more, just gave him a powder to disolve the mucus and I had to come back with his colleague Dr. Eisele. Again they repeated blood tests and “tried” to treat the cough, prescribed him an asthma spray but with the days the cough got worse. I asked for a fast appointment being clear that we need a real experienced doctor, and in the clinic we got an assistant or nurse who didn’t know what to do and she had to call the doctor on the phone… I showed everyone videos of how bad was getting the cough and no one did in this clinic anything to cure it. I had researched everywhere, it was urgent the treatment with antibiotics, I asked please to treat my cat and give him something to cure the cough that probably became an infection, but the doctor (I don’t know if she was a student, assistant or nurse) said my cat was just an old “Opi” (grandpa) and some days are good and others are not. I had to come back in two days and again they repeated blood tests to only see that all values were still good. We waited three hours and finally the Dr. Eisele said to give antibiotics. We came back home and in just a moment my cat couldn’t breathe and collapsed on the floor, dead. How can a clinic be so inefficient and not take proper action? now after the death I’ve being sending and showing the videos to other doctors and no one understand how this clinic didn’t act fast just from the beginning seeing the breathing problem and cough, they let it get worse and worse until it was lethal. The irony is that my cat didn’t die because of any of his diabetes, kidneys, heart or any illness, he just died because of medical malpraxis of this “clinic”. Probably they just wanted money as many reviews here say, the receptionists get the script to ask ‘how is your pet doing?’ while making you wait one hour even if you have an appointment and then make you pay for tests and more tests. I should have seen all these red flags. I regret the day I brought my cat to this clinic. If you love your pet as your most beloved treasure, take him/her to another clinic in Berlin.
Alex Rojas G

It’s very good and professional clinic, problem with my dog was solved without overseling unnecessary diagnostics, drugs worked and suggested diet also. All personnel I met was kind and good English speaking. Prices good for quality. Only bad thing was waiting times but it’s easy to understand cause there are very fev open practices during Sunday evening and holidays. Thank you for your help 🙂
Bóbr Bobrowski

I unfortunately ended up here in an emergency. I spent so much money for my cat to be grossly misdiagnosed with a deadly cancer, rather than pneumonia. They actually called us in to euthanize him but thankfully we had the presence of mind to take him home with us, and get a second opinion from actual specialists. I do not wish the emotional distress we have been through because of this clinic upon anyone. If you live in the Tegel area, go check out the kleintierspezialisten, those are real, trustworthy experts.
Chiara Capuano

I will leave a (long) review about two different professionals working at this clinic. One is positive, for the other one I wish I had -10 rating.
Summary: this clinic is probably good for easy, routine visits to the vet. Don’t get nearby if your animal has something more complex, at least not if you need an orthopedic specialist. She’s not professional, she’s outdated and plain rude. She’s basically a danger.
On June 6th 2023 I went to this clinic with my cat for an emergency appointment. They saw us after 3.5 hours, it’s ER, we wait. The doctor spoke perfect English, was caring, addressed the problem and explained to me what was going on with a lot of patience. He even let me stay in a little room with my cat so he could calm down before we left. He gave me a wrong diagnosis but also adviced me to see a specialist for a proper evaluation. I’m nothing but grateful to this doctor for behaving like a human being; I understand that in difficult cases a clinical professional can’t find out the real cause of the problem so you need a specialist.
The orthopedic specialist was another story. I’ve been in Germany only for a month but if I knew how I would denounce her somewhere for bad praxis. She spoke little English so communication was difficult, but I don’t expect it from them. I do expect good predisposition when I’m trying to use a translator though. She examined my cat, who was in a lot of pain, and asked me very quickly if I was OK with another examination. I thought this meant another specialist, so I said “sure”. She then proceeded to BRING A RESIDENT who was in another room, to practice her examination skills on my cat. At this point my cat was screaming in pain, THIS PERSON CREATED MORE UNNECESSARY PAIN FOR MY CAT. I had to tell her “stop NOW” and move the cat away when I realized what was happening.
Plus, she misdiagnosed the problem. My cat doesn’t have back pain due to his “old age”. His xrays didn’t show any arthrosis (3 vets said this afterwards), as she assured me. My cat is 12, and perfectly fine otherwise. When I asked this person about treatments, she told me (quoting literally) “the only thing to do is give him painkillers, nothing else, he is old”. She is a bad professional, who wanted to ultimately damage my cat’s functional organs with painkillers until he died, without finding out the real cause of the pain. She prescribed a very generic painkiller that did nothing to his pain.
Thank god I found an amazing professional after a month who immediately gave me a plan. She said this is not due to aging, and injected my cat Solensia immediately. Solensia was approved recently by the FDA and also in Europe. I guess you can only know this if you read the latest advances in your field, as you should. It’s working for now until we have an MRI, which is the next step to understand what is causing this problem. I could have saved my cat one month of pain if this person had done her work professionally enough.
Bottom line, I wouldn’t go here. At some point your pet will need complex care. Also for some reason they are stupidly expensive. At least hire good professionals with that money.

Very professional groomer. She’s patient, my dog was very comfortable with her and she really took care of him. He looks amazing!

Super professional and did a great job with our dog Yannis! Firstly even though we don’t speak fluent German yet they tried their best to accommodate us over the phone and in person.
In the past, Yannis always had sad experiences at the groomers and would leave in a sad mood. This is the first time we pick him up and he is very joyful and happy. His fur smells great and was cut really neatly, not too short as well.
Definitely coming back
Alan S

Took my dog for a shower and grooming. He was calm when we first got there and seemed very happy and comfortable after I picked him up, contrary to previous experiences with other groomers. My dog is usually terrified at groomers and shakes a lot after. However, he loved the groomer and she was very patient and affectionate with him. They had a great connection and my dog seemed to love his experience there.
He also had a great trimming, and his fur is still soft and smells great several days later.
Melinda Mouzannar

(the owner deleted my review so I am reposting it!) This will not be forgotten!! Shame on you!
The woman that was working already opened the doors very agitated; I said we just need the nail trimming. She let us in and told me to put the dog up. When she started to cut the nails, they were all opened like a flower so I expressed my concern over it. She said that’s fine and that just a few walks on the concrete will file the nails. I said “ok”.
Then my dog started to “cry” and I saw blood on 4 fingers. I said that this is definitely not ok and she said: “What do you know!?” She was extremely rude and dismissive and in a rush. At that point i didn’t want to pay for that service so I took my money back, which i previously put on the counter. SHE THEN PHYSICALLY ATTACKED ME, GRABBED THE MONEY OUT FROM MY HAND AND PUSHED ME OUT THROUGH THE DOORS, ALL IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN.
I reported her to the police. This behavior is inexcusable and this kind of person has no place to work with animals!
