Beautiful department store offering many high-end cosmetic and clothing brands, sports goods as well as sunglasses. There’s also a children’s department which has a side offer of stationery. Head to the top floor to check out the gourmet department. A wide range of chocolates, sweets, biscuits, teas, jams and other food concoctions. It is a good place to make gift purchases for loved ones as some of the items are not commonly seen in other gourmet halls. Many restaurants offering a variety of cuisine are also housed on this floor. There’s an affordable casual eatery offering snacks like Currywurst as well as beer. There’s also a donut stall with offering freshly-baked delights. Tried the almond crushed special and a white chocolate almond donut. Both around 10 euros were scrumptious. There’s also a bakery which you can grab a quick bite on the go for those who are cash strapped. Best of all, you can use the toilets here for free, compared to other department stores like Galleria where you have to pay. Tasteful decorations and window displays are a plus, making Kadewe a must visit if you are a tourist.

KaDeWe, according to searches, the largest department store in continental Europe and the second largest in Europe right after Harrods in London. Many wide floors of goods and clothes, on the upper floors a “restaurant-café world” where many delicacies from around the world are offered. A place worth visiting, definitely.

Several good things about this mall!
The bathrooms/WC/ toilets are clean and there are plenty. Located on the 6th floor in the back right corner. No charge to use them.
The food hall offerings are wonderful! So much chocolate from all over Europe – a great place to pick up gifts if you’re travelling.
The food court on the very top floor is an experience. Amazing view and nice atmosphere. It’s like a canteen – some things are a bit expensive but the hot business lunch meal of the day was good value. It was pork knuckle and would have easily fed two.
Not too many shops or brands to pick from within the mall – but still plenty to look at!
Kalliana Kong

Great department store seems to have everything. I did a little walk around but I had gone there because I had heard about the food court. I had a coffee at one of the many coffee bars. I also picked up some gifts at Lindt confectionery counter.
Fasih Rehman

This is Berlin’s premier department store. All of the global luxury brands can be found here. Amazing selection, for a price. Great food hall and food court on the top floor, it is huge.
The wine and spirits selection is particularly broad, the best I’ve seen in Europe.
There is a discount department on one of the upper floors selling off season brands at a discount.

If you need quick fashion then this is the mall to go to. There were typical stores..now if you are looking for high end designers this place is not for you. I walked throughout the mall just browsing and there is something for everyone
Courtney “Techknowledgey” Teague

The Mall of Berlin is a multi-story urban mall near the centre city. It has two sides, East and West stores, with a middle area outside that patrons walk across to the other side. The West side has more stores, but the East has the food court, which is why it has fewer commercial shops.
The food court, on Floor +2, has tastes from around the world, East and West. There are a few American chains (KFC, McD’s, and Pizza Hut), with the rest being traditional non-US fare.
The stores are moderate to higher end, with some souvenir stores thrown in. There are some home stores, clothing, sports-athletic, and other specialty stories, a barber, and the like but fewer “services” stores and mostly “goods.”
Parking is ample, though better for small and intermediate size rides. Parking is not free and no validation for parking discount exists. There is no valet for car parking.
During the holidays, a small Christmas Market pops up for patrons, and includes drinks and foodstuff.

The Mall of Berlin is by far my favorite shopping destination in the city. The architecture is stunning, with a clean, minimal design that makes it a pleasure to walk through. The entire complex, from the buildings to the individual stores, is well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. What sets this mall apart is the variety of shopping experiences it offers. Whether you are looking to spend little or splurge, there is something for every budget. From high-end fashion to more affordable brands, the selection is diverse and appealing. There are a lot of information spots so you get an overview what this place has to offer. Even if shopping is not on your agenda, it is worth a visit just to take in the architecture and vibe.

I’ve been on holiday to Berlin recently and decided to come to the mall it was very cool we went a walk though the shops its HUGGGEEEE which is cool we went to the subway there and was in for one big shock….. THERE WAS NO KETCHUP and later when I was in line for bathroom u had to pay 1 Euro so me being me tried to squeeze a 1 pound coin in but the lady saw and sent me back also I really loved that Saturn shop reminded me of Curry’s PC World
gary

The Mall of Berlin doesn’t look like much of a center from the outside, but inside there is a completely different vibe. At first glance, the center exudes exclusive shops, but you are a little disappointed when you enter their food hall and the smell of curry fills the entire area. The food in their food hall is not terribly exciting, and most of it is either Indian, Asian or Middle Eastern. Not the big and exciting variety. When you go down to the shops afterwards, there is not much exclusivity about the center at all, and many shops are closed. In some places it feels a little half empty. However, there are still many good shops, and also some of better quality. Hope the food gets better in the center and there are more shops, so the center will probably be good!

Anyone who likes to spend time in this temple of consumption could perhaps be declared crazy by doctors. If you only stay in here for a short time, you may be looking for something specifically and then quickly flee again. And if you don’t come here at all, you’re smart enough to have a look on the internet before you get stuck in this cramped space in this mad crowd of living organisms.
Tilman Benecke

A very big shopping mall where you can pretty much find anything you need. Can be very busy which is expected based on the location being in the heart of the city.
The architecture of the building is nice making the most of the day light with huge sky lights and open space in the middle of the mall. I can imagine this would save lots of electricity.
On the top floor (where you find the gym) there is also an area where you can learn a bit about the history of the building and area which I found most interesting about the mall!
Tanya

It is a nice mall with a lot of shops. There is also a food court where you can enjoy many types of food

I had a fantastic time at Shopping Center Europa in Berlin. The pleasant cleanliness and moderate crowds created a comfortable shopping environment. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the captivating water clock, which added a special charm to the center. Additionally, my lunch experience at the Asian restaurant within the complex was quite satisfying. We used to go here when we lived in Berlin. The ice cream place has expanded but a lot of stores have also shut down.
I went here for TK MAXX which is massive and well organized.
I thought the gallery that turned your eyes (irises) into art was super interesting too.
The toilets were clean. You pay €.70 to the cleaner and kids go in for free.

The mall evokes the ambiance of a high-end shopping center. Its spacious, open layout enhances the shopping experience. A key feature is the inclusion of an NBA Store, significantly elevating the overall appeal. Furthermore, a wide array of dining options are available. I highly recommend this location.

Nice restaurant and shopping location near Potsdamer Platz. Grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, shops, and many restaurants all in one location. Also nice areas for relaxing on the outside.
Bull Dogg

Really cool place. It is looking much nicer than the old mall that used to be here. Everything is new and remodeled and much airier Many shops are still to come, but the restaurants are mostly there. The existing food options are great 🙂
Jelena Krsmanovic

Shopping center is very nice ! Cafe with ice cream is so tasty .
But food court is … the employees do not wash hands after the toilet and go to their working places . I saw it several times with people from several cafes . Today I saw one person from the Africa cafe in food court went to the toilet and didn’t even think to wash hands !
Has anybody explained to them how to behave in public food places? What does it mean “ Hygiene”?
Disgusting
And then they cook your food with those hands .

This is a basic shopping centre suitable for the locals. Do not recommend for the tourists.

You can buy almost every kind of clothes from different brands here, there is also some fast food restaurants and cafes here and also you can find Rewe supermarket and dm and rossmann in this shopping centre. But I think the tempreture is a bit warm in the whole shopping centre.
Parinaz Sinaei

Shouting kids , people walking without clear trajectories ♀️, confusing directions to the toilet . All this and other staples shopping centre experiences can be found here!
Get lost among the fake plants surrounded by the smell of friend chicken as you try to find the one shop you came to visit.
For real though: a good selection of shops, you can run most errands (post, pharmacy etc.) and you’ll do 2x your daily step count too making it effectively a workout location too. What more to want? (Perhaps people standing on the right side of the escalator and leaving room on the left to walk.)

It’s nice little shopping mall with different independent shops and cafes, also has a large window that overlooks the Berlin Zoo
Omar Nadhmi

Really nice mall. Great for Japanese items. There is also a possibility to charge your phones with different cables already provided. As well, there is a window through which you can look into the zoo. It’s a little bit expensive, but great to stroll through.
Tiger Llilly

A nice and fancy place with some never before heard of brands. You can also see the zoo through the mall. The bars on the top are good.
Pruthvi

Nice shops and very good food! Many of the stores were really pricey but they had a lot of interesting things to look at. Nice view over the zoo as well.
Minus two stars though because there was a terribly rude guard there who yelled at us and made us really scared when we said we did not have any coins to pay for using the bathroom (we had just arrived to Berlin and didn’t have any change yet). He even started following us around the mall which made us very uncomfortable. Kinda ruined the experience 🙁
Elin Persson

A decent mall in the center of the city with beautiful and clean inner environment which is very comfortable to walk around and kill some times here. Above all, they have a wonderful mini zoo outside with see through big glass which enables you to watch the animals while staying inside the mall.
