You can find everything you need here, anything for your traveling, outdoor clothing/shoes, very nice tools and equipment, great selection of hiking stuff. I didn’t see it anywhere else, you can do vaccination here. It is 3 floor store with the best products from famous brands, the only negative I can say that stuff for women looks super casual, everything quite short and at the end I bought jacket from men area, because it was fitting me better.

A very large selection of everything you may need for camping and any other sporty activity. There is also a large selection of Fjallraven bags (pretty much all of their designs and new collections).

Unfortunately the cute little cafe on the top floor is often out of most of their lunch options, as they probably do not have that many per day.

I have been going to Globetrotter since they were located over close to the S-Bahn train station Rathaus Steglitz. It has always been a superior outdoor sporting goods store; with a knowledgeable and friendly customer service! Also they have a walk in tropical medicine clinic which I have used on numerous occasions before traveling! Wonderful service with walk in without appointment, which is great! The doctor’s are all friendly and very knowledgeable if you aren’t sure what vaccinations you may need! A great place to pick up outdoor gear in Berlin and the new location is very fancy!!

Frauded by this shop: shoes with a price of 83 Eur. I go to pay and it’s suddenly 120. They say that on the shoes there was still the old price but the price in the system is now 120. They refuse to refund me the difference. Informed the authority about it.

Terrible customer experience.

In order to try a shoe, you need to request it from an employee, who have to get it from the warehouse.

The employees however not seem to be highly interested in serving their customers. 180cm blonde was approached and asked if she could assist in providing some shoes. She answered with a quick and short yes, made zero eye contact and never returned.

She probably had a bad day, was busy, stressed out or whatever.

Nevertheless, she should have offered some explanation, referred a co-worker etc.

The staff are great and the prices are better than the UK. Unfortunately, as with Nike everywhere, the quality doesn’t match the exorbitant prices.

I initially bought a pair of shoes from Decathlon, trusting their quality and customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me feeling completely deceived.

I purchased these shoes a year ago, but they quickly became uncomfortable and showed extensive, unusual damage—worn-out soles, deteriorating surface, and an interior falling apart. Last week, I went to Decathlon Berlin Alexanderplatz and was told by a staff member in the shoe section to bring the shoes back, assuring me they would handle the return.

When I returned today with the shoes, I received a completely different response. A staff member named Bjorn, along with a young assistant who seemed new, assisted me. First, the assistant appeared unsure and called Bjorn over, who inspected the shoes and decided the damage was just “wear and tear,” refusing to offer any exchange or refund. I reminded him of the earlier assurance, but he brushed it off, suggesting I must have been “hiking at Amazon” and implying that my weight caused the damage. This comment was offensive and felt like body-shaming, especially as I haven’t used the shoes for any intense activity.

Disappointed, I returned to the shoe area, hoping to find a new, more durable pair. I approached Bjorn again, kindly asking if he could recommend a shoe with better quality. Without even attempting to help, he said he couldn’t assist me and continued chatting with the intern, making me feel dismissed as a customer.

This experience has made me feel insulted and misled. Despite being assured of a return, I was treated as if my concerns were irrelevant and as though I didn’t understand the product. Given the abnormal damage to the shoes, I believe I am entitled to a replacement or refund.

I hope Decathlon addresses these issues in customer service, as this experience has left me feeling utterly disregarded. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and for promises to be upheld.

Purchased a bike and came back for service. I found Christian very helpful at the service desk. He was extremely patient to listen to the problem and helped in every bit to resolve the issue. Regarding cycling, we were looking to buy a bike. However, the customer service wasn’t very qualified. We asked for information, and one of the employees said, “Okay, I am coming.” Even though we waited for 10 minutes, we saw him chatting with his friend instead of helping us. We didn’t receive full service, so we decided not to buy anything from that store.

RUDE staff. The people working at this store could not possibly be more abrasive. They have an attitude like their store is too good for you. Gets two stars because they do have some cool gear, but you can buy anything in this store cheaper online. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in there over the years, just for convenience, but their service never gets any nicer.

Dropping a quick review here just after finishing another long hike in the trail runners they recommended me. I now have all my shoes from here; trail runners, alpine boots and climbing shoes. All of them have been excellent, they fit me really well (I have narrow feet and don’t always find it easy to get a good fit) and have held up to a lot of wear and tear. I have spent a lot of money here but when I see how comfortable my feet are and how well my shoes last compared to my fellow hikers, I think it was 100% worth it. The staff have always been very knowledgeable and that clearly makes all the difference.

This man is racist

I went to this store three times, and every time I was there, the old man working at the door left everything he was doing and kept watching me from a really close distance. The first time, I thought, “Okay, maybe he’s just hanging around,” but by the third time, it felt like too much. I don’t feel comfortable looking for something while he’s watching me so closely. It feels like he’s treating me with discrimination based on my skin color, and that just feels disgusting, especially for someone his age.

Actually I was a bit skeptical going to this place based on some negative reviews that I saw. However my personal experience was not bad. They have lot of options to choose from, however some pairs that I liked didn’t have the right size. Despite that, the staff was friendly and patient, and made good suggestions.

Bad experience with the staff.. Seems like I’m not the only one here. Today I visited this store which is located in the HEART OF BERLIN. In a touristic spot like this you expect the staff to be friendly towards “international” customers.

Half of them didn’t even speak English. One of them could but he completely IGNORED me while I was talking to him, face to face!!!

By my appearence it is clear that I am not German or “European”. AND THEY CHOSE NOT TO HELP

It was funny because I tried to talk to them many times but they kept ignoring me and what I said/asked. I was going to buy two pairs of shoes but I couldn’t. They were very enthusiastic about German clients though, I’ll give them that!

Never gonna visit here again.

I get on Adidas store with my mother, looking for the Germany soccer jersey that I would give to my dad. It was difficult to get the attention of the sellers, all of them talking and laughing with each other, when I finally found one to help me, he told me: one moment please, he was supposed to go check the availability of sizes and finally after several minutes of waiting, we found him walking looking at his cell phone and then he realized that he had abandoned us. Unfortunately they didn’t have the size I was looking for, so I left the store.

Then I decided to go back to try the one they did have available. However, the sellers continued talking and laughing, I couldn’t find anyone to help me, and those on the floor simply ignored me. I approached the stand that printed t-shirts to ask if I could try it on but I was ignored again, they didn’t even look at me, they just talked and laughed among themselves, so I went into a fitting room to try on the t-shirt. When I left, I realized that they believed my intention was to steal the store and guards and sellers came up waiting for me.

How sad this situation was, I felt totally discriminated against for been latin girl, and sad, it gave a bitter touch to my incredible vacation visit to Berlin.

Jacob was incredible! I am only sad I am posting my review almost two months later. He is like a magnet! Everyone sees his enthusiasm and genuineness, and sticks to him for advice and opinions and I can definitely see why. 🙂 he is unbiased and professional. I came back two days, he saw me walk, assessed my walking in a few pairs of shoes and gave me his 2 cents. Helped me find that right pair for my feet after my recent surgery. He took time and showed me little details about tying the lace and a small detail about the shoe sole and a few other helpful tips. He also helped me objectively compare the shoe model I bought from another shop with the ones in the shop. I am so happy with the shoe I found. And also excited about the bag suggestions(and education) I now have from him .

THANK YOU JACOB!!! You really are a gem.

the staff at the store is completely inattentive. I haven’t had time to go in and see the product yet, and they’re bothering me with questions. and when I wanted to know, I came up to ask, I ask a question, I stand next to the seller, one, the second – they didn’t notice me, they just ignored me, as if I were an empty place. I left the store angry and upset. the product is hanging on the walls, you can’t even get it and look at it.

They have a great selection of hiking/camping backpacks but what’s best is the expert advice you receive. Finding the right backpack was confusing at other shops since the staff didn’t have sufficient expertise especially given my lack of experience.

For context, I’d gone on a 21km ‘easy’ hike with a men’s backpack so every women’s backpack felt better after that… But at one shop, the staff was not able to justify an ‘incorrect’ setting, and at another, with 9kgs of weights on, the staff made adjustments that could have hurt my spine. I wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for my best friend (who’s pretty well versed).

At the Aussetiger, Haio (hope I got the name right) advised me perfectly and helped me adjust every backpack I tried on to my body, patiently adding all the weights I asked for each time. As well, he mentioned useful tips that were good to know in relation to my plans with the backpack. Once when he was gone and I tried on a backpack with the settings wrong, another staff member stopped me to adjust it… I can’t imagine finding better service than this.

I just completed a 12km ‘expert’ hike with my new backpack carrying 8.5kg and it felt feather light compared to the previous – after the first couple of kilometers, I’d found my perfect settings and haven’t had to tug or shift anything for the rest of the journey. There were moments I even forgot I had it on. Very grateful that I found what fit me there – only possible when in good hands.

A big thank you to this shop and its staff.

Had an amazing experience at the Adidas shop today! One of the staff members called Romina was incredibly helpful and attentive. She gave excellent advice to my kids and wife on selecting the perfect Spain football t-shirts. Her product knowledge was impressive, and she took the time to understand our preferences. As an added bonus, she even shared some great local restaurant recommendations with us. Her friendly approach and willingness to go above and beyond made our shopping experience enjoyable and productive. Adidas is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Highly recommend visiting this store for both the quality products and outstanding staff.

Worst service ever.
When I wanted to buy golf shoes, I asked if they had my size. Apparenty my size was on the mannequin. The person in the shop took one shoe of for me to try out and it was the right size.
When asking if I could get the other to buy, she said she needed to ask the manager to take of the shoe.
He/she said no we cannot do that as the mannequin is wearing no shoes to display. This whole there was another size standing next to it in the store.
So apparently doing 5 min of effort to change the shoes is too much work for the store manager to sell items instead of showcasing.

I went the to other side of the street and bought everything at the Nike store.

Bought a jersey here with flocking, overall great experience from everyone especially all the female staff. However, the bald old guy in the “jersey abholen” section is rude and NOT friendly at all. After I said one sentence in English he immediately shut his mouth and didn’t respond or talk to me at all. No specifications about how to wash the jersey were given either. (a young man who also works in this section is way more professional and will give relevant advice to customers as well)

Had to minus one star for that bald man!

Excellent fußball store!!! They have the best employees and equipment. Dorian helped me find my ideal pair of turf shoes that weren’t in any other stores and shared info about local leagues to join. As someone new to Berlin, this was perfect.
