One of the best gym i’ve ever been to
Elisabetta Rosati

Best gym in Friedrichshain, professional equipment, good value for the money. Awesome music, good vibes and polite staff! Recommend! Power lifters welcome. Can also be used with an urban sports club membership.
Tobias Wolff

Such a nice gym! Tons of squat racks and barbells. They also have a brand new bandbell earthquake bar.
Pietro Basso

I’ve been here multiple times. People are friendly here and willing to assist. Powerlifting, weightlifting, strongmen/women are all super welcomed, also providing nice equipments. If you’re just a traveler, you can get a day pass and work yourself out here.

Gonna focus on the positives first. Clean facilities. Had one class (out of 3) with coach Igor & he was absoluyely awesome. Great place to get a workout in.
I didn’t find it the most warm welcoming place which is what I’ve experienced at other CF gyms on my travels.
Not atrocious but not amazing either.
T Fons

Just one of the best boxes I’ve ever been around the world. Great, dedicated coaches with an interesting and fun programing for the experienced Crossfitter as well as special classes for beginners. A great community and the bar offers some delicious shakes.
Beside that – the box ist just absolutely designed!
Ralph Gloor

Best and most stylish Crossfit box in Berlin. They have a big range of classes, they offer specials on weekends like Team-WOD or rowing/running classes. Nice coaches (hi Anna – we love you) and staff behind the bar (the one with shakes not weights). Always remembering my name, even as a drop in. Very clean locker room, shower gel for free. You can rent a towel if needed. I will return.
Si Mi Wi

Friendly stuff, Pretty awesome chilling area and the changing rooms are on point and clean. Check the website for the classes they offer. Its open for Sunday as well.
Orestis Papapetrou

Awesome Crossfit box! Spacious hall w/all the equipment you need. Showers, lockers, stylish coffee bar. Great coaches and friendly staff

I really enjoy this course, it’s not too difficult during the week you can walk on pretty much at anytime if you don’t mind starting in front or back 9. The staff is super helpful and their ball prices in the pro shop are priced great. The food in the restaurant is nice and well diversified and the drinks are always flowing! If you want to get a quick game in and don’t want to drive too far this is for you! Be warned on the weekend it is packed! I recommend weekdays! Love this course!
StewartGerard

A nice, large golf course that relatively close to berlin. With 36 holes, from beginners to pro golfers able to play here. With a driving range that very accessble and not pricy at all, it’s a great place to start lesson and golfing for beginner
Fauzan Ritonga

Cash only on range balls, total arrogance at reception, refusal to accept two low handicap players (‘you need to bring evidence of your handicap’), could have been resolved easily. Much better service, friendlier staff at Wannsee and Winston Golf. Cannot recommend. Typical German. Reiculous.
bugggs honey

Great golf course with plenty of options. The 9 hole is one of the best I’ve played, and the 18 hole is beautiful and challenging. The rental clubs aren’t bad either, and you can’t beat 1 euro for a bucket of balls.
Andrew Dickman

Great driving range and pitch and putt. I will be back.

The service at Ski-Sport Stadl is truly commendable. Their knowledgeable staff goes above and beyond to assist customers, ensuring they find the right gear for skiing and snowboarding. Families are welcomed with patience, making it easy for everyone to browse without pressure.
The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, which allows visitors to feel at ease while shopping. Customers often leave satisfied with their purchases and rentals, making it a go-to place for all winter sports needs. Highly recommended for ski enthusiasts!
Customer Reviews
Was here today and the whole team was amazing and very helpful. Thank you for the great service, and especial thanks to the expert that was with us all the time for snowboarding and skiing purchases. Now we are ready for skiing and snowboarding properly ⛷️ ❤️
H

Call them if possible to install 3d-party ski and bindings – someone said yes.
Come in 3 days on the middle of working day without a sign of another visitors in the show.
– Could you install … ?
– No, you bought it somewhere, we have no time on it (nobody in shop, the man was watching TV probably). Go anyway, I do not care about your call.
Absolutely not recommending that place – the example of “german polite service”.
Dmitry Kustikov

They have old colleagues who are rude and disturbing. Do not think about going there with your kids, they would be stressed from the first point they see the kids and warn the kids for small things. I could not bear to them more than a few minutes. Just had to tell them that their behaviour is not acceptable and left.
Can Kayacan

We had to return some ski boots we bought before and the store employees treated us like we were the enemy when they heard this. One of them told us she was impressed by the “stories people can invent” for returning products while rolling her eyes. They told us that we can only take something else from the store but they completely ignored us after that like we were being punished. We had to search through many many pairs of skis by ourselves even if it was clear some employees were free after they finished helping other customers. I have no idea why someone has to be treated like this when spending 500Eur
Mihai Voicu

The team here are great and very patient – we were there with two kids who wanted to look at every jacket, ski and later snowboard they had!!! We came away with a great result where we bought sone stuff and rented other stuff to keep the cost under control. I highly recommend the shop – they have everything!!!

Great fun long course! A bit much to walk the full 18 but they also have a separate 9 hole course called hunters 9 which is perfect to walk. There is an amazing restaurant for dinner located near the clubhouse and up near the range is a wurst stand and mini golf for kids. Awesome driving range in real grass and to be honest if there isn’t a tournament you will never find it too crowded. I play here quiet a bit and im always having fun! Highly recommend

Urban Sports Club provides an impressive array of fitness classes that cater to various interests and skill levels. The convenience of their services is noteworthy, making it simple for users to find suitable workouts that align with their schedules and preferences.
While the concept of integrating different sports activities under one membership is commendable, there are areas that could benefit from improvement. Nonetheless, the overall experience of accessing diverse classes and engaging in a healthy lifestyle is a significant advantage that the Urban Sports Club offers its members.
Customer Reviews
The variety of the classes is great.
However, both their check-in-management and the new app are disappointing.
I totally understand that new technology can cause some issues at the beginning. But what is absolutely unacceptable is that customers have to pay for their mistakes.
I couldn’t check-in because the app wasn’t working. Even a screenshot of the error message wasn’t enough to waiver the missed class fee of 13€ that I have been charged with. Instead I had a condescending service member telling me it was my fault- unless the studio proves otherwise.
Angela L.

Offers variety of classes. The app is really Convenient & user friendly. The only thing I don’t like, is that for some classes you need to create extra accounts and go to other websites to book a class! It would be much easier, if all classes are bookable through the app directly.
Ayyam Alasaad

The offering is exceptional however the app is not great. No way to connect with your friends to share a particular schedule or invite them to a workout, map radius search is very un-intuitive, the favorites is hidden behind 3 menu clicks, i cannot filter by workout venue type, the search is unintuitive and the schedule cannot be seen in a week overview, just in a list. There needs to be put more work into the usability of this app. However I am still using it because the concept of booking many sports activities is just awesome.
Gilles Tanson

The general concept is ok but
A) the support is super slow and doesn’t answer over 1 month on requests
B) the support gave me wrong information on check-in limits
C) the app is so far bad for a 2024 product. It should be so easy to give the user some reasonable overviews, graphs and stats of their sports events but almost nothing is available. Feels like usc has 0 Product managers and almost no Dev team. Also no in app account management is super annoying.
Jaro

The new app sucks. The update is a huge downgrade, there’s no way to discover new activities by distance, and the lack of photos makes everything look the same, which is really confusing. It’s barely useful as a simple schedule for one activity, but that completely misses the main purpose of Urban Sports Club.

Interesting experience at the ‘float with lights’. Was very relaxing in the pool in the warm water with the floats and the relaxing techno music.
As someone who isn’t too confident in her own skin I was a little uncomfortable with people walking around without swimwear on even outside the sauna textile free zones but it was an experience for sure!
Caitlin Broadhurst

I had a wonderful experience at Liquidrom! I was delighted to find out that, with my Urban Sports Club membership, I could enjoy 2 hours for free, and each additional half-hour was only €2.50—a great deal for such a relaxing escape.
The warmth of the water in the pools and jacuzzi really stood out to me, especially since it’s rare to find such perfect temperatures in Europe. It was a pleasant surprise!
The sauna experience was excellent, too. We loved the rituals and peelings, which added an extra layer of relaxation.
We also treated ourselves to some wine, which, while on the pricier side, was worth it for the nice service. Overall, Liquidrom offered a fantastic spa evening, definitely coming again!
No photos are allowed, so I took a picture off the website:) but trust me, it looks exactly like this!

This is a fun place with a cool theme. If you are from the west, be prepared for full nudity. However no one was inappropriate. There is only one changing room and genders are not separate. There are some private changing rooms if you wish. There are some hair dryers outside the changing room. You should buy a ticket and reserve a time in advance. Once there you get a bracelet that records your purchases so you can pay on check out.
Virginia Mott

Amazing sauna and baths. I had been out for a late night on Saturday and this was the perfect place to relax on a Sunday. The venue was full and people from all over the world, different ages, mostly couples. The pools are clothed but the sauna is naked. Some people continue to be naked lounging around the pool area. There is nothing sexual about the experience and like most parts of Europe, being naked is accepted and people are body positive. The sauna master sessions on the hour are great if you can handle the heat. The venue is very clean and well maintained. I will go back.
Clay

Amazing place in Berlin. Very relaxing, excellent facilities with friendly staff. Loved that fact that no phones are allowed to ensure privacy. Consists of sea salt quiet dome area, artist installations. outdoor heated jacuzzi, naked sauna area with cold water showers. A bar serving a vast collection of drinks and food. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

From the registration process to assistance around the gym, their friendliness enhances the overall enjoyment of the visit. Moreover, the availability of healthy food options and drinks adds an inviting touch that keeps climbers energized throughout their stay.
Customer Reviews
This bouldering hall was massive! There were tons of boulders and tons of people. There were lots of different variations of boulders to do and it made it fun to try out the different kinds to do them.
The only part I didn’t enjoy was the registering process at the front but once you’ve done it once they have you in the system to go back again which is good.
Good for a group of friends that have variations in style and level.
Jack Becker

Cool gym with a variety of different problems at different grades. I enjoyed that they had both a kilter board and moon board. I also liked they had an endurance section where the mats followed the wall up as not many gyms have this.
Steven Sheridan

Great place! Definitely again!
We were there for almost the whole day (from 13:30 – 19:00) and really enjoyed it. There are 4 gigantic halls were the first two are accessible for everyone and the last two are 16+ only. Even in the first two halls only there is a lot of climbing tracks with a really accurate difficulty ranking, wich you can find in the fotos. The food (wich is also in the fotos) is really ok, and definitely very good for a bouldering hall. They have different food every day. The drinks are also fairly standard. The climbing experience and customer service was AMAZING.
Andreas S.

Loved it! Staff was super nice at the desk. They spoke english.
You should take your own lock if you want to use the lockers. Parking was free.
Máté Schwanner

I’ve been there four years ago and it was good. This time (2023) the cafe was still good but the boulder experience was really bad.
The colour coded grade system was confusing, (dark green and dark blue are so close together when the laminated labels are reflecting ambient lights.. then there’s a dark purple and a black same issue) but that’s not even starting to talk about inclusion of people with color vision deficiencies.
The locker rooms are way too small for a climbing gym that size and there’s not enough toilets either.
Oh and you can’t shower there, the showers are closed (supposedly since 2020 during COVID).
The worst part was how dirty and slippery the holds were. A picture’s worth a thousand words so I’ll attach some…
All in all I will think twice about visiting next time I’m in Berlin. There’s plenty of alternatives that deserve a look.
But to be honest not all is bad, their Quiche is awesome and the Vegan Chocolate Cake is great, too.

Edit after comment of the gym :
Hi guys, I can without problem explain the 1 star rating after your post – it’s only fair that you give your opinion after your customers share what’s not working in your gym and maybe it will help you to improve in the future (I really want to help, let me know if you need more info, if you want to meet, ect)
2 things are in my eyes at the fire of the problem here
1) your USC policy. I understand that you prefer to make the life of USC Users difficult to privilege the people who train without USC – its more money for you and less people on the matt – but it might be then better to not offer USC at all since it gets super inconvenient to train with you guys for the USC people and your reputation suffers from it. Your other memberships seem to be way more in adequation with the market although it’s still quite expensive as well. Rather no service at all than an automatically disasrifying one.
2) I don’t know the old man who was the trainer that day and I have nothing against him but, whoever comes to that gym, newbie, professional, XYZ, can expect a minimum of courtesy. That could have been super easily and quickly handled. Room for communication and social skills improvement here 😉
Otherwise, huge expensive gym, quite central in Berlin, good facilities and the participants/students are super nice.
Ah, and you guys need more lockers 😉
PS: USC works very well in other MMA locations where I have been, I am wondering if it’s just a choice/policy of the owner of the place and, again, that is fine, I guess it is a business decision at the end and I wish you all the best 🙂

I am a BJJ white belt from Australia who dropped in for a roll while in Berlin for a short time. Ended up going to some night classes (back to back).
Staff were easy to talk to and welcoming.
I felt very safe and comfortable.
Coaches were easy to understand and gave great advice.
Gym is clean and change rooms are good!
Classes were in English and rolls were solid! My classes were with Peter and Felipe and I was welcomed to the club by Robert and Michelle (excellent service!).
Thanks for the warm welcome and happy rolling
LW1

The reception is absolutely friendly and helpful! Every process feels refined and like they know what you need before you know it. The coaches I’ve met so far are also professional and friendly. I recommend! But be aware that to start you have to be ready to wait till they have free spot. But even in this case they have options for you to start asap.

I just say I’ve been to a lot of places in this world, and I rate this place 4.8 out of 5 stars. If people just rerack their weights then it would’ve gotten full five star. Honestly, they must go to if you’re in this area

Really cool gym with a great selection of equipment! There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into cardio, strength training, or functional fitness. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid workout environment!
Johnston Chen

This was my first and last time to go there. There was no specific room for changing clothes so I had to change my clothes in the shopping area and then go to the training section to put my clothes in the locker. It was uncrowded which to me was a good thing. since I’m not a professional in using gym equipment so I was searching for instructions on how to use them but I didn’t find any and it made me unhappy leaving the gym.
Also if you are using urban clubs you can just use a part of the gym!
Saeed Babashahi Kohanestani

Best gym in Berlin! Unfortunately not centrally located, but worth the drive. Great machines, friendly staff and an awesome performance center.
Sheila

Terrible experience! My cap was stolen while I was sitting down getting changed in the gym, and I know exactly who took it. I spoke to the gym staff twice to avoid any conflict, but they did absolutely nothing. Their response? ‘Maybe they liked the cap.’ Seriously? The best they offered was to ‘possibly give the person a warning.’
I even suggested checking the cameras at the time of the theft, but they dismissed the idea, saying it would be ‘too complicated.’ Absolutely unacceptable. When you’re new to a gym and something like this happens, it makes you lose trust in the institution. Especially when a standard membership costs around €80 a month—you’d expect them to care for their clientele.
I’m never renewing my membership, and I would not recommend this gym to anyone. They don’t care about their members’ belongings, and their attitude towards theft is a joke.
