I still like it here, though you can tell at the more non-central areas, that the mall is struggling a bit to keep shops open as just a few too many spots are currently closed and uninhabited.

Well maintained, open and friendly and draws a good crowd. Special shout-out to the holmes place and the sports shop!

A really beautiful Mall. Of the best in Berlin. Most of the malls here are kind of lame, they don’t have anything special that makes you visit them. Most of the time i buy online, but this Mall, along with a couple others makes the difference.

The place is not big enough to make you feel lost, but is big enough to have nice stores, a good variety and also good places to snack. During Christmas there are some kiosks that sell candies and hot beverages. The Christmas decoration is also very nice.

This is a nice shopping centre exhibiting excellent modern architecture, amd it is full of natural light. The recent rapid closure of numerous shops in the boulevard, detracts from what would otherwise be a nice place to go to eat and hang out on cold and grey days…

Location: Saturn, Alexanderplatz, Berlin
Experience: Mostly Positive, but with Mixed Service Quality ️

My experience at Saturn Alexanderplatz has been mostly positive, though it depends heavily on which sales associate assists you. I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with wonderful staff who went above and beyond to guide me. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful without being pushy or overly aggressive. In terms of customer service, I have no complaints from these encounters!

However, it can be a bit of a gamble — at times, you may encounter staff who are unhelpful, rude, and frankly lack basic manners, which is disappointing in a store of this size and reputation.

The bigger letdown for me, though, is the limited selection of the latest technology. For a flagship store in such a central location, I expected a broader range of up-to-date products. For example, I’m a fan of Anker power banks, yet I couldn’t find any available here. As a consumer, I like to see and compare items in person before purchasing, but Saturn’s selection often falls short.

For the best experience, it’s a bit of a roll of the dice on customer service, and for the newest tech trends, I find more options online. Overall, a decent shopping experience if you’re not looking for the latest products.

Organized store and knowledgeable staff. Most likely one of the biggest ranges of anything household appliances. Bought a fridge, a dishwasher, and tumble dryer here in the last few years. Fast delivery, very well trained, friendly people bringing the goods, and installing the machines.

Wish there was option to give negative rating for such customer service. As if customer service agents are trained to run away from customer.
They avoid eye contact with you at all cost. Agents will chit chat with each other seeing you waiting for asking something, you keep waiting for them to finish the talking so that you can ask your query.
I waited for long time to get my query resolved. At the end I found one kind lady who helped me with my questions but by then I had decided to buy product from another store as protest for such experience.

Worst experience at Saturn Alexanderplatz!
I bought 3 lamp packs, clearly priced at 4.99 EUR each. However, at the billing counter, the employee mistakenly charged 5.99 EUR per pack. To correct this 1 EUR overcharge, I was sent to the finance department, where I had to wait over 45 minutes just to get 1 EUR refunded! This process is completely inefficient and unacceptable. A small mistake turned into a huge inconvenience.

Saturn needs to improve its system and train employees to avoid such errors. Customers shouldn’t have to waste their valuable time for such minor corrections.

I went here because I wanted to buy a usbc to lightning cable. Found it quickly and went to Kasse immediately.

But the creepy old bald consultant stopped me and really felt the need to talk to me. Even after I have shown no interest in talking to him he was still pushy and after he ended conversation he felt the need to touch my hand before leaving.

If you don’t want to be harassed by creepy old bald people when shopping for hardware, don’t go here.

The store’s size and variety are impressive, making it a go-to destination for tech enthusiasts.

However, the shopping experience can sometimes be chaotic due to the crowds.

Despite that, MediaMarkt remains a reliable option for finding the latest electronic gadgets.

This Apple Store is in a prime location with a sleek design, but the in-store experience didn’t meet my expectations. For a flagship store, I expected something beyond what you would find in a typical electronics store. Unfortunately, it feels very similar, there’s not much that sets it apart in terms of product exposure.

Many items aren’t available for hands-on testing, which is really disappointing. For such a large space, you’d think they would showcase more of Apple’s product range in a way that really highlights the brand’s innovation, but it feels lacking. If you’re just looking to browse Apple products, you’re not getting much more than you would at other retailers.

It’s a decent store for quick purchases or tech support, but I left feeling underwhelmed by the overall quality and selection of products on display.

The Apple Store is a decent place to shop, but not all employees seem to know what to do in every situation. For example, we only recently found out about the special app you can use to book appointments electronically. Before that, we had to physically go to the store first, and then schedule an appointment for another visit, which was quite inconvenient.

If you have a product under one year old, your chances of getting it replaced are higher, especially if you have solid proof of the issue. Having additional warranty coverage is also a big plus—it makes the process smoother. However, if you do encounter a problem, I recommend collecting evidence and being persistent.

For instance, I had an issue with my AirPods where both the earbuds and the case had problems. Initially, only the earbuds were replaced, but I kept reporting the issue with the case at subsequent appointments. It wasn’t until my last visit that they finally replaced the case as well.

It’s clear that Apple tries to minimize replacements, which is understandable as they aim to prevent misuse of their warranty policy. However, if you have a genuine issue, stay consistent, provide proof, and be prepared for the process to take some time.

As always, the place is full of young experts helping you to pick the right product for you.

I was looking for hidrate spark pro smart bottle and the guy assisted me and all went under 2 minutes.

You would see many people experiencing phones , ipads and beats headphones. It is a great place if you would like to taste the falcor of apple new products.

I had an appointment at 17 and arrived exactly 2 minutes earlier. One of the assistants checked me in and told me to wait at one of the many desks. I waited for half an hour and it turned out that they “were not able to find me at 17:06”. I literally didn’t move and the assistant that checked me in was at the desk next to mine the whole time. I don’t understand why she couldn’t just communicate I was still waiting.

This was extremely disappointing, but I guess I was just unlucky. At the end of the day, I got an assistant and he was actually very helpful; it stayed with me about an hour. He’s the only reason I am giving three stars Instead of one and if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have even bought anything so much I was annoyed by the waiting.

Anyway, big Place, curious design. It was my first time in an Apple store as a customer.
Unless you have an appointment, it’s not clear how to make a purchase since there is no cash desk. All the confusion I think was also generated by the general dysfunctional design: there is no reference point and all the assistants talk to each other saying “go to *that* desk” while indicating a table 50 m far away, with dozens of people roaming around. No shit that they couldn’t find me.

I didn’t had any problems with the employees that helped customers to make the right choice . But went to the cashier and when I was waiting for my change and recite the cashier screamed and cursed out loud because his shoes war dirty . I understand dirty shoes are a problem but will be nice not to curse on front of customers . Even the people in line behind me wanted to come but the man ( maybe father ) told to his kid to wait because the cashier is busy with his shoes . I understand that I live in Germany and friendly cashier is really rear to see but PLEEEEEEEASE be careful what you are saying in front of customers . Thank you

Excellent Service for Irish Buyers
As an Irish customer, I used to rely on Overclockers for my PC hardware needs. However, Brexit-related VAT and import fees made it impractical. That’s when I discovered Caseking, a parent company of Overclockers, and it’s been a fantastic experience ever since.

Orders from Caseking are consistently well-packaged, with no damage to boxes and reliable delivery—something I’ve struggled to find with Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de lately. Recently, I built a new system, purchasing everything except the cooler from Caseking, and everything arrived in perfect condition.

Caseking has become my go-to for PC components, offering a dependable solution for future purchases. Highly recommended.

Great until something goes wrong, then good luck getting a refund or replacement for any part. Their policy on returns is effectively meaningless and they will tell you whatever type of fault or damage it is isn’t covered, tell you clearly broken parts are working in their test rigs etc.

Edit: The CPU got damaged in transit back to you and the GPU didn’t work in any of the 4 machines I tested it in once you returned it. You sold me a faulty GPU and used every excuse under the sun not to issue a refund. I was a customer of yours for years but won’t be making that mistake again. Absolute sham of a company.

The customer service and order handling of this place is terrible. I have tried to buy a set of speakers in the shop in Berlin on September 14. First, the employee who made the order ordered the wrong color for me. I realized once I got home and tried to get the products replaced, it was not possible… even if the order was not sent yet. Customer service yelled at me on the phone. I had to return the packages online with DHL before arriving. I was at least waiting to get the money back, initially thinking I could order the right colors. It has been 3 weeks and I still do not have my money back. Teufel frankly have the worst service I’ve encountered in a really really long time. I do not think I’ll be ordering anything from Teufel again. I would be happy if I got my money back eventually and am not forced to pursue legal action.

I had one of my best experiences in the store when i went to buy the cinebar 11. One of the sales employees (i think he was more than just sales) guided me through the whole thing and spent something around 1-1.5 hour explaining to me all the differences and giving me all the science behind the types of speakers to make sure i am doing the right decision in my purchase, offered trial and return and even offered me solutions to my room and living room regarding the best sound system i could have. We even compared it with other brands and the reasons why they could/could not be better. I really liked how honest he was and how he did not push me to make a decision but gave me all the facts behind the products and their competitors, which made me feel really comfortable to have the chat with him. I had a great experience and was very satisfied. His name was Christian, if you ever feel hesitant ask him and he will guide and help you make the right choice, I’m still waiting for delivery and excited to try the system.

This is basically nerd heaven. You can find everything from Zelda to Marvel here. However it’s quite expensive (normal expensive for those kind of things) so you should be prepared to spend more than 20€ here.
The staff is really nice and friendly. The shop itself is really small – that’s the only bad thing and why I only gave 4 stars out of 5. It gets crowded easily and you sometime need to wait to even enter the shop
