Customer Reviews
We started working with Alex 3 years ago, because our dog, Ava, was really fearful.
Training: In the beginning, Alex helped us with the training, doing weekly sessions, which resulted in a well-behaved dog. After the initial training, we met for training for small corrections: fear of the car, walking without a lead and we even did agility training!
Dog walking: From the beginning, Alex and the Cookie Team took Ava for walks twice per week. She loved every walk and because of it she was properly socialized and learned how to behave around other dogs.
Dog boarding: Alex and the Cookie Team accommodated us every time we needed to leave Berlin and couldn’t take Ava with us. She loved so much to stay with them, that every time she sees that we are preparing her bag, she becomes really excited.
Overall, thanks to Alex and the Team (especially Ava’s favorite human, Micha), our dog is calm, well-behaved, not fearful and really happy.
George Merticariu

We couldn’t be happier with Cookie & Friends! Alexandra, who leads our neighborhood’s pack, is absolutely amazing — so kind and calm, which makes all the difference for our dog.
The communication is always clear and reliable, and it’s wonderful to see our dog come back from her walks happy and fulfilled.
Thank you, Alexandra and the Cookie and Friends team! ❣️

So happy and grateful that Cookie & Friends started a new dog walking group in Kreuzberg this spring.
My dachshund Stefan loves to go to the Grunewald twice a week with Alexandra and his dog friends to play, sniff and learn.
Alexandra is super sweet, reliable and takes great care of my loved one.
Can‘t thank her enough!

We are sooo happy that our dog is a pack member of the cookie and friends crew. since almost 6 months he joins the walks and this was one of the best decisions we’ve made this year. Our dog is happy and overall balanced and we also have more time for us. Thanks to alex and his team
Thomas Haseloff

Alex and his team have been amazing with my dog Henry! He is always thrilled to see Alexandra in the morning and comes back happy and tired after a nice time in the forest with his friends. Thanks

Always very nice vets. Home visit makes it easy to get a simple checkup and vaccinations with minimal stress on our two 4-legged children. Thank you!
Krystal

The worries of visiting a vet along with my pet is not a problem anymore! Ms. Scarlett was amazing and handled us very patiently even when my dog was super hyper and energetic. Looking forward to booking with you again. The doorstep service is very quick and one can get an appointment for the very best day itself!
Hasrat Patial

Dr. Kathrin Brix came to our apartment to evaluate our cat, Thor. He has been having some stress-related digestive issues and Dr. Brix did an amazing job! Dr. Brix gave us some plant-based supplements to try on our cat and we all really hope it helps our little guy out. Dr. Brix was caring and explained everything incredibly well. I cannot recommend her enough! I also love that we did not have to put Thor in a crate and transport him to an animal hospital for the visit. As we all know, cats do not travel well so the convenience of having a vet come to our house for the visit was phenomenal.
S ME

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! The worst vet ever!!! She came 1 hour late without saying sorry, she had to call her colleague to ask every single thing because she did not even know that a dog needs a rabies vaccination every 3 years if it travels… and many other things. They give out information via email that they are different from what they say once they are there. They send me a receipt where it says I have to pay for the vet delay!! Not only I had to wait one hour without any excuse, I also have to pay for her delay, the fact she had to stay longer because she did not know anything about her job… NEVER AGAIN!!!
And when I asked for clarification the only thing they said was that I can find all the information on their site. No comment. I won’t pay the receipt and they will receive a letter from my lawyer.
LegoStarWarsFilmMaker

It’s so nice that the doctors can come to the pet hause so they don’t get extra stress when they are sick. People super friendly and prepared with medication. Also you receive an overview with all the treatment information and so on.

The best dog daycare in the heart of Berlin!
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They consistently update you with photos and keep you informed about your dog’s activities and care.
Mohsen Mirhoseini

When I moved to Berlin 3 years ago with my dog Reilly, my first priority was finding a dog daycare. I count my blessings that I came across Undine at belloberlini. She and her team were so easy to work with from the beginning. Whether Reilly needed extra care because of a surgery, or I had to travel last minute, I could always rely on the flexibility and communication with Undine and her team. Now that we are returning to the US, I wish that I could bring them all back with me, but as that is not possible, all I can do is thank everyone for everything that they have done for me and my pup. Don’t hesitate to bring your dog to belloberlini—you won’t regret it.
Sarah Smith

I only wish my senior dog Hannah had this caliber of care available to her now that we are back in the United States. Hannah went to occasional daycare and was a frequent overnight boarder, sometimes for 10-14 days at a time, at Belloberlini for the three years we lived in Berlin Mitte. Undine, human Hannah and the rest of the team are true professionals who understand each dog’s individual personality and needs and I can’t praise Undine’s communication enough. I loved that Hannah, who hates being crated, could sleep freely overnight. The reliability and great caretaking at Belloberlini is one of the things we miss most about Berlin.
Laura B.

My dog goes twice a week for 9 hours a day. The staff, led by Udine, is friendly and very competent. They go out to the local dog park several times a day and their indoor play time is comprised of intelligence and agility training. The other dogs in the pack are well behaved and I’m not at all afraid of my dog being bullied or not enjoying himself. In fact, he quite likes going (based on his reaction as we approach and when he arrives) and sleeps the entire next day because he’s so exhausted from all the fun he had the day before. Definitely worth price. We do a package deal and it come out do just over three euros an hour. And a bonus: we get several long videos via WhatsApp daily.
Michael Moineau

Our dog has been going to Bello Berlini for almost a year now and isn’t always the easiest dog to look after but the team at Bello Berlini always look after him with care and send us many photos and videos of him during his stay there. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional team to take care of your fur baby when you’re away.

Mach weiter so ♥️
Sophie Altrogge

One of the best Aquariums I have visited. There are 3 floors, the 2nd and 3rd floor have insects, snakes, crocodiles etc…Buying a zoo+aquarium combined ticket way early to your visit is the best option and there is a lift available and wheelchair accessible…. I highly recommend visiting especially if you are visiting with kids…
maveen K

Beautiful tanks… just amazing n clean
i did not go to the top most.. my kids are quite tired after a long day in the zoo.. at this point the aquarium entrance actually being renovated, you can only access with zoo ticket + aquarium..
MOHD SYAFWAN BIN ADNAN

If you’re a fan of aquariums in general, you’ll probably love this place. Unfortunately one floor was closed off when we visited, but I thoroughly enjoyed the two floors we could access. This place has a great variation of fishes and reptiles, and even audience feedings of the crocodiles.
Tip: save money by buying tickets online at least two weeks in advance. We visited on a Thursday morning and it was not too crowded.
Biggest downside is the lack of information in English. Most tanks only had info in German next to them, with few exceptions.
Maja Loberg

The place is a bit small, but they have beautiful fishes, corals, jelly fish, Koi pond where you can pet them, crocodiles, turtles, some lizards and snakes. You will need only 1-2hours to see all of it, I was there with my 2 little friends and after 1,5 hours the older one was already bored. I came when they were renovating the amphibian section, so I couldn‘t see it. The receptionist wasn’t friendly at all, which is weird.
I give it 4 stars because there were not much to see, that makes it a bit pricey.
Eva Irene

Berlin has two equally excellent zoos, one West, the other East.
Berlin’s Zoological Garden and Aquarium are situated in the Western half of the city. The two can be visited together or separately, so I’m only going to talk about the Aquarium in this review.
This historical aquarium, with vintage dinosaurs decorating its facade, has three zones for different animals; fresh and saltwater fish on the ground floor, reptiles on the first floor, and amphibians and invertebrates on the third (which was closed for reforms when I went there in July. A pity, but it’s for the best). It houses many fascinating animals, often in multi-species environments, including rarities like the Indian gharials and the only Tuataras in the EU.
This is an excellent Aquarium, well worth anyone’s time. I do recommend you get a combo ticket with the zoo, however; it makes for a more thorough experience. I thoroughly recommend it.

My puppy Minnie had a wonderful time with the other small pups. It is a fairly large area with plenty of space to run around. The trainers were great. For only 10€ for an hour it was a great time.
For anyone with proper small dogs, this is a great place to let them socialize with other pups.
Matthew Earl Styers

It’s Great place to bring your pupy for socialisation with their kind and humans and fun for a doggo during Welpen Stunden.I will try GREHs puppy training and individual training. 4 stars only because when it’s raining it is cold and wet, but it is outdoor and January so no wonder 😉

I am taking my puppy there for training a clean place, with a lot of dogs going there but its not very welcoming and not in the best location.

We went there on an open day. Animals are taken good care of, but on that particular day it was very overwhelming for people and animals. A good experience overall, and it seemed that they have a very good system of care and adoption

If you’re looking to adopt a new furry (or feathery) friend and support a great cause, I highly recommend visiting this animal shelter in Berlin. The architecture is quite impressive – it’s both functional and interesting. The high ceilings, natural lighting, and open spaces create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for animals and humans alike.
Tilman Benecke

Some dogs are allegedly kidnapped there, It:s like a prison , no option to be adopted, that’s cruel and unfair. Some people working there should be in a cage. Really sad. Do not give money to this people, they don’t care that much about animals..

lame excuse. Frankly lame, because one would assume the organization would have the decency sticking to their scheduled times. Afterall, we all love animals and want the best for them. Like finding a good caring home.
Needless to say, i don’t understand what

I was never refunded after they sold me a group of Gouramis that happened to be infected by iridovirus. It was very sad to see them die slowly (100% mortality rate and very contagious), frustrating to spend 80euros for nothing, and disapointing to insist to get my money back while being repeatly ignored by the customer service.
Months after this drama, I give up but I don’t forget.

Best place to buy aquarium fish. Only fresh water animals but animals are very clean and healthy

If you want to buy food for your pets, in my case I bought some snacks for my cats. This place has plenty of variety, cat food, and snacks. Too bad they didn’t have hills product here, I’m not sure why since I did see on their website, they did sell hills
Better find out how to use their app too, because if you are using the app, you get 5% discount, which is nice

Furiosa has been a client of Amicanis for over a year, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. We regularly leave her there during our vacations, sometimes for up to three weeks. Furiosa, a shy and loyal shepherd, struggles with being away from us, but every time we pick her up, she’s just as we left her. Naturally, she’s tired—after all, there’s no place like home to truly rest.
Thank you to all the Amicanis staff for taking such great care of my little furry baby.
Elena Popescu

A very nice pet hotel for dogs. The staff are very friendly and professional, and I completely trust them to take care of my dog every time.
Ben Barrett

I am confused about the services provided by Amicanis. Yesterday was my dog’s Test Day. When I went to pick him up, I was told that couldn’t be an Amicanis Guest because he barks… well, he is a dog. So I am wondering if all the dogs in the hotel keep quiet all the time. If you have trained staff, don’t they know how to friendly control some exciting vocalizations?
He also came back quiet and scared.
It was my first contact with dog services here in Berlin, and now I am very preoccupied about the other one’s. My family and I have already lived in 3 different countries, and in all of them we were able to live our furry baby in pet hotels and daycares. I am unfortunate and disappointed.
Aline Badilho

Excellent attention! It would be better if they posted more pictures of the dogs, for example, in the rooms or eating. But I think they give good care of the dogs and their hotel looks pretty good.
